And with those simple words, Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked Lindsay Lohan‘s probation on Wednesday, reprimanding her for getting purposely kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Shelter in Los Angeles where she was court-ordered to perform community service.
“Miss Lohan’s actions made it deliberately impossible for her to perform her services at the Downtown women’s center,” the judge explained, adding that Lindsay has been “looking a gift horse in the mouth.”
Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Holley, tried to convince the judge that Lindsay was working to support her family and that is why she was unable to perform much of the community service and added that she could not do community service when she was under house arrest.
The judge would not buy it. “My order was made six months ago. You’re prasing her for doing twelve hours in six months.” Judge Sautner added: “She’s supposed to be an actress from what I hear. I don’t know how much acting she’s doing.”
“I don’t care about rallying cries,” the judge said. And with that, she revoked Lohan’s probation and set bail at at $100,000. Since Lindsay was there with a bondsman, ready to post bail, Sautner said Lindsay will have to complete a minimum of 16 hours at the morgue in the next week.
