Kanye West called President Grorge Bush a “racist” last year but is now trying to make amends for that. He went on NBC’s Today Show Tuesday to speak with Matt Lauer about it all but ended up being unhappy with the way he was treated by the show.
While on the show, Kanye told Lauer that he now regrets saying Bush “doesn’t care about black people.”
“I would tell George Bush: In my moment of frustration, I didn’t have the grounds to call him a racist,” West said. “I believe that in a situation of high emotion like that, we as human beings don’t always choose the right words.”
But apparently, something went wrong during the taping of Today Show. Here is what Kanye had a problem with, in his own words. Last night, Kanye went on a Twitter rant again and here are experts from Twitter:
kanyewest ….but before I take off let me tell you how they did me at the Today show…
kanyewest I went up there to express how I was empathetic to Bush because I labeled him a racist and years later I got labeled as a racist….
kanyewest While I was trying to give the interview they started playing the “MTV” under me with audio!!!!!!!

kanyewest Yo I really wonder if Matt Lauer thought that shit was cool to play the “MTV” clip while I was speaking about Bush?
