Have you heard of Michelangelo’s “Sixteenth Chapel”? No, well, there is good reason for it. He never painted it. But poor Justin Biebermade a big faux pas on David Letterman’s show when he called the legendary artist’s most famous work of Sistine Chapel by that wrong name.
And Letterman made him pay for it.
The 18-year-old singer was showing off his new arm tattoo “BELIEVE” on the “Late Show” when the grumpy ole’ Dave, reached over and grabbed the new tat making Justin to scream out in pain.
Justin smiled as Dave kept pestering him about his inked body. “Don’t go nuts [with the tattoos] because more and more you see like the mural … like the Sistine Chapel, it’s too much,” advised Letterman.
That’s when Bieber replied, “I’m not going for the Sixteenth Chapel.” Letterman just laughed and said, “Canadian high school.”
