The Biggest Loser airs its 10th episode of the 13th season March 6, 2012. On this week’s episode, the age-old excuse “I’m stuck in my comfort zone” is addressed as contestants get pushed out of their comfort zones. How? They have to switch trainers for the week. The red team gets Bob Harper and the black team gets Dolvett Quince.

Alison lets the contestants know that they teams are very even and that things are going to get uncomfortable for them as they will switch trainers. The red team will now train with Bob for the week and the black team with Dolvett. But wait, there is another twist! The team which wins the weigh-in will be the only people who decide who goes home this week.
The teams have to let Dolvett and Bob know about the switch. The red team tells Bob and Bob is excited for the challenge. The Black team goes to Bob and they are upset except for Conda. Dolvett says the black team looks like their world just ended. Chris says they are scared.
Bob works on the red team and they take it well as opposed to the black team which is complaining and whining. Cassandra is in a grumpy mood and having trouble keeping up. She just wants Bob back.
Bob and Buddy talk about Buddy’s daughter who died. He explains that doctors wanted to terminate the pregnancy but he couldn’t do it back then. His daughter ended up having 10 surgeries in 6 months and he watched his daughter take her last breath.
The black team ladies learn ballet positions and they start to be happier. Cassandra says they have to not only work hard but to build alliances as well. Emily is frightened and she talks to Cassandra about how they have to get four people out. Emily wants to send Buddy home.
CHALLENGE:
For the next challenge, Alison asks the two teams if they are ready to get down and dirty. There is a pit of mud with weights of different sizes. They have to dig for weights in the mud one at a time and the first team who brings back 40 weights wins the challenge and gets a 2 pound advantage. The black team ladies start complaining immediately about having to dive in the mud.
The teams are neck and neck in the race and it comes down to the last two weights. Marc grabs the last weight and pulls out a victory for the red team who gets 2 pound advantage.
Emily and Cassandra approach Conda and tell her they want a four-girl alliance. Conda tells the men of the plan as she is loyal to her brother. Marc and Buddy have no intention of participating in a women’s alliance. Buddy then tells Marc and Jeremy of the plans for the alliance. Jeremy does not understand why they would tell her anything.

Alison says the Black Team has to lose 19 lbs to win. And Emily shocks everyone by saying there is no way they have lost a total of 19 pounds.
Cassandra’s previous weight was 175 lbs. She lost 3 lbs
Chris’s previous weight was 185 lbs. She lost 1 lbs
Megan’s previous weight was 205 lbs. She lost 1 lbs
Emily’s previous weight was 199 lbs. She lost 4 lbs
Conda’s previous weight was 231 lbs. She lost 3 lbs
Black Team Total – Weight Loss 12 lbs and a Total of 1.21 %
The Red Team wins the weekly weigh-in and get to vote for who to send home. Emily has immunity on the black team.
Jeremy feels it has been a weird week with much game play going on. Cassandra speaks first and says she wants and needs to stay. Chris also makes a pleas to stay. Megan feels like her time on the show has been the biggest blessing. She says if she goes home now, she may fail. Emily tells the red team to use their heart in making a decision and wants to keep Cassandra. Kim also makes a plea to keep Cassandra.
