Justin Timberlake and Jay Z are hitting the road! The dynamic duo will embark on a 12 city stadium tour this summer. The “Legends of the Summer” tour kicks off in Toronto July 17 and will finish August 16 in Miami. Dates are also set for venues in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago Boston, Detroit and Baltimore.
Timberlake’s first new album since 2006, “The 20/20 Experience” is set for release next month and features the hit single Suit & Tie featuring Jay-Z. The song has been a top ten hit on radio since it was release a little over a month ago. The two performed the song together at the Grammy Awards earlier this month.

Justin Timberlake will be the host and musical guest for the March 9th episode of Saturday Night Live. NBC announced the news today; this will be Timberlake’s fifth time hosting ‘SNL.’
The appearance is likely part of the promotional campaign for his first new album in seven years, “The 20/20 Experience.” Timberlake has burst back on to the music scene in the past few months, performing at the Grammy Awards, the BRIT Awards and releasing several singles, beginning with the Jay- Z collaboration “Suit & Tie.” The new album is Timberlake’s third studio album since embarking on his solo career and is scheduled for release on March 19th. Country music singer Mindy McCready has died of an apparent suicide attempt. The troubled country music star was found dead on Sunday at the age of 37. Reportedly, neighbors heard two gunshots – McCready shot herself and her dog.

Alec Baldwin is at it again! Baldwin had yet another heated confrontation with a photographer–and a reporter. The 30 Rock star allegedly threatened to choke a reporter while hurling a racial slur at the accompanying photographer. The incident ended with both Baldwin and NY Post photographer, G.N. Film critic Rex Reed really didn’t like this weekend’s new release Identity Theft starring Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman. Reed, a critic for The New York Observer slammed the film and its star.
In his review, Reed called McCarthy “tractor sized,” “hippo” and “obese.” He went on to say, “Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) is a gimmick comedian who has devoted her short career to being obese and obnoxious with equal success. Three crew members working on a reality television program died in a helicopter crash early Sunday morning. The names of the people involved have not been released.
