After much speculation on whether or not Bobby Brown would be permitted to attend the memorial/funeral services of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, we find out that he did attend but left after only 20 minutes.

Her father, Bobby Brown has issued a public statement on her condition:

“My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better. We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected.”

Whitney Houston Dead At 48

Whitney Houston, two-time Emmy and six-time Grammy Award winner, passed away Saturday at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel today. She was 48.

Insiders say a member of Houston’s entourage discovered her body sometime in the afternoon. A hotel employee then called 911 and paramedics arrived only to find Whitney unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at 3:55 Pacific Time. Continue reading

Struggling Soap Opera Actor Commits Suicide After Euthanizing Dog

Struggling soap opera actor Nick Santino committed suicide last week one day after he euthanized his dog.

According to New York PostSantino was under extreme pressure from his Upper West Side condo in New York to remove the dog from the premises.

So, on his own 47th birthday, the actor euthanized his pet Rocco. But it appears that the guilt ate away at his conscious. He left behind a suicide note, “Today I betrayed my best friend and put down my best friend. Rocco trusted me and I failed him. He didn’t deserve this.” Continue reading

After a long struggle with leukemia, legendary singer Etta James has passed away. She was 73.

Her longtime friend and manager, Lupe De Leon, confirmed the death of the four-time Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member:

“This is a tremendous loss for the family, her friends and fans around the world. She was a true original who could sing it all – her music defied category or genre.”

“I worked with Etta for over 30 years. She was my friend and I will miss her always.”
