If you ever happen to be in Los Angeles, make sure you visit The Grove, because, you never know who you can run into.
Take today for example. The entire cast of ABC’s hit comedy, Modern Family, completely took over parts of the popular shopping center to shoot several scenes for an upcoming episode.
The episode was surprisingly being directed by Adam Shankman, best known as choreographer and judge on So You Think You Can Dance, but who has also worked on such films as Hairspray, Deuce Bigalow and Catch Me If You Can.
Despite the fact that the cast and crew had worked all day, they were all amazingly sweet, extremely interactive with the crowd gathered to watch them and even took the time to talk with the fans and even take some pics! I heart this show.
Here are some pics of the cast:
Eric Stonestreet (Cameron Tucker) and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Mitchell Pritchett)

Ella Hiller (Baby Lily) being consoled so the cast/crew could re-start shooting (see video below)
Ed O’Neil (Jay Pritchett) and Sofia Vergara (Gloria Delgado-Pritchett)

Adam Shankman with me
Twins Jaden and Ella Hiller (Play Baby Lily) with me
This is one scene they shot which required the cooperation of the twins who play Baby Lily. Both twins were crying and shooting had to stop until one of the twins could be consoled long enough to shoot the scene.WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW AS IT SHOWS THE SCENE WHEN MITCH RUNS INTO HIS EX!! It’s no other than, Mary Lynn Rajskub – She played Chloe on 24
In this scene, Jesse Tyler Ferguson sees something that obviously shocks him, but we have no idea what it could be….guess we all need to tune into Modern Family, Wednesdays, to find out!
Bruno Mars met up with Mario Lopez of Extra today to talk about his recent success on the music charts.
I am sure you have heard his hit single, Just the Way You Are. But Bruno has also lent his vocals and co-writing skills on the hooks for such hits as Nothin’ on You by B.o.B, and Billionaire by Travie McCoy. He also co-wrote the international hits Right Round by Flo Rida and Wavin’ Flag by K’naan.
Mario asked Bruno how he feels about taking over the music charts and Bruno said: “It’s a rocket, and I am riding it.” Continue reading →
Brian McKnight gave a moving concert at Songs for Hope, an event held at The Grove in Los Angeles to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
Watch his full-length videos from that performance. McKnight sang some of his classics: “Back to One, Do I Ever Cross Your Mind, Crazy Love and Can You Read My Mind?”
I remember walking by the Dolce & Gabanna store in Beverly Hills two weeks ago and stopping dead in my tracks at their new super-sized window posters displaying who I thought was a look-alike Madonna. A beautiful young version of Madonna. The Madonna I fell in love with so many years ago. Continue reading →
