The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences just announced that Anne Hathaway and James Franco will cohost the 83rd Academy Awards on Feb. 27.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway can’t seem to keep their clothes on lately. They go naked yet again, this time for not one but three different Entertainment Weekly covers this week to promote their new movie, Love and Other Drugs.
In the EW article, Hathaway said she was a little nervous about the nudity in the movie at the beginning but pretty much got used to it by the end of filming. She said: “There is that revoltingly embarrassing moment when you have to take your clothes off in front of strangers.” Hathaway continued: “I mean, I don’t go to the beach in a bikini for a reason. So I thought, ‘Okay, I’m going to be in control. I’m going to do everything properly, disrobe at the last minute, and in between shots get the clothes back on.’ But then I found that every time I put my robe back on, it rubbed all the body makeup off, and that added 20 minutes to filming,” she said.
“As with all things in life, the second you stop making it a it about you and you make it about everyone else, it just got, dare I say, fun,” Hathaway said.
Anne Hathaway, the Oscar-nominated star, can finally laugh at her past life with ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. If that name sounds familiar it’s because that is the guys Hathaway dated for four years…that is until he was convicted of defrauding investors out of millions of dollars.
On what would be a relationship deal breaker:
She said laughingly: “Uh … fraud?” But all jokes aside, the actress says she’s learned “to be more wary” when forming new relationships.”I’ve always believed in people’s capacity for goodness. I still believe that people are good. What I’m not so trusting about anymore is their relationship to their own goodness.”
On filming the graphic sex scenes for Love and Other Drugs:
“I was a wreck from start to finish. I think I cried every single day. I had to lean so much more heavily on everyone around me than I’m used to. I’m used to pulling my own weight. But I totally fell apart.”
Last week, I was invited to a screening of Love and Other Drugs, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. But, before seeing the movie, I signed a contract agreeing that I would not tell anyone particulars about the movie or I would be sued for a crap load of money. Sorta defeats the purpose of having seen this movie in advance.
