Britney Spears has started talks with HarperCollins to pen a book. But not just any book. The X Factor judge will be writing a novel, possibly a fiction based on her life experiences.
If the deal goes through, Brit will be following in the footsteps of Lauren Conrad and Snooki — both of whom recently wrote fictionalized accounts of their real-life experiences.
The X Factor USA will air its first live performance show of the season tonight October 31, 2012. Up until now, Simon Cowell, LA Reid, Demi Lovato and Britney Spears made all the decisions on who stays and who gets eliminated. Britney Spears and Simon Cowell appeared on The Tonight Show Monday night for an interview with Jay Leno. The power duo judges were there to promote The X Factor live shows which kick off November 1.
Britney has been in the news for other reasons of late after her cover photo on the latest issue of Lucky magazine raised more than a few eyebrows. In the photo (see below/after the jump) Britney looks like she has undergone some major face-altering Photoshop changes. She also sports an extremely low hairline and appears to be wearing a wig. The reaction to the photo by Brit’s fans was so overwhelmingly bad that the magazine actually took to Twitter apologize. Continue reading
