Christina Aguilera Messes Up The National Anthem During Super Bowl – Watch Video

Poor Christina Aguilera – I kinda feel bad for her. While performing on the biggest stage of her career before the start of Super Bowl XLV, she flubbed the lyrics to The Star-Spangled Banner!
How? Instead of “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming,” Aguilera belted out, “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last reaming.” That line was a repeat of one she had just sang, but with the word “gleaming” being replaced by “reaming.” Poor girl. At least she sounded amazing.

After she got lots of flack via Twitter for her mistakes, she responded in a statement: “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”day night, stepping to midfield prior to  and flubbing a lyric to the national anthem. Aguilera left out the words “O’er the ramparts we watched” and instead inserted “What so proudly we watched” in their place.

Christina Aguilera Speaks Out On Her Divorce

Christina Aguilera has broken her silence on her recently-filed divorce from her husband of 5 years, Jordan Bratman.

Christina told Redbook: “It’s not easy, and there have been a lot of tears and sadness. It’s impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on. On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward.”
