GH Fave Star Steve Burton Joins Cast of Young & The Restless

General Hospital fans who were holding their breath for the return of Steve Burton as Jason Morgan took a big hit to the gut today and may have to hold their breath a while longer.

Burton, who played fan favorite Morgan on the ABC soap  for nearly 19 years has announced that he is joining the cast of “The Young and the Restless”. Burton will be working again with friend and former “GH” executive producer Jill Ferran Phelps. Continue reading →

A fan fave on General Hospital is saying goodbye after playing the popular Jason Morgan since 1991. Yes, sadly, I am speaking about Steve Burton who announced the news that he is leaving GH to his fans on Twitter by writing, ” Morning. Just wanted to thank all of you for your support over the years.You are amazing.It’s been an incredible 21 yrs of my life.THANK YOU.” He added, “Thanks for all the luv.I know it’s difficult for some.It is difficult for me.I luv the cast and crew..it has been home. Hoping to tweet ltr.”

HUGE news! Roger Howarth (Todd), Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Kristen Alderson (Starr) and Michael Easton (John) – all longtime residents of Llanview and One Life to Live – are coming to General Hospital! They’ll start taping in late January.

“We have a very exciting story planned for the citizens of Port Charles, with Sonny Corinthos at the center of it!
