SPOTTED: CSI star Marg Helgenberger at The Grove in Los Angeles to chat with Mario Lopez of Extra about her final episode on the CBS crime series. The actress told Lopez, “What I can tell you is that I do somehow end up in the autopsy room in a body bag on the slab.”

Helgenberger just received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but will be replaced on CSI by Leaving Las Vegas actress Elizabeth Shue. Even though Helgenberger says she will show up on the autopsy table, she hinted that she may be back on the show to play cameos. “The producers said, ‘Please, you know we’ve left the door wide open if we write a special episode or two, would you be willing to come back?’ and I said, ‘Why not?’ Come on, it’s the best job I’ve ever had!” Continue reading →
