Mariah Carey Loses 30 Baby Fat Pounds In 3 Months

Mariah Carey got her body back, six months after giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe. The singer, showing off her toned legs and flat stomach in size-6 short-shorts, tells Us Weekly that she lost 30 pounds the hard way.

“I just gained an enormous amount of weight,” Carey says about her pregnancy. But in July, Carey hired a nutritionist and started a workout plan from Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig).  Under the plan, Carey worked out three days a week and stuck to a 1,500 calories a day diet.

“I feel incredible. It was just the biggest blessing to be able to have the babies,” Carey says.

“But I felt trapped in my body because I couldn’t move.” Carey adds, “I’m proud of how hard I worked to get my body back… I had to do this for me.”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon introduced their twins to the world on 20/20 Friday with Mariah telling Barbara Walters, “It’s just love. It’s a beautiful place to be.”

The proud gushing parents did not stop the introduction there.

The couples’ twins, a girl named Monroe, after screen legend Marilyn Monroe, and Moroccan, after the name of the room in which Cannon proposed to his wife, now have an official site Dembabies.com, full of photos of the adorable twins taken by their proud papa.

Nick introduced the site on Twitter saying, “Instead of selling baby photos we wanted to share our family blog with everyone go to http://DEMBABIES.COM now.” He asked though, “Don’t judge my photography, It’s a new hobby #dembabies.”

The site also includes a joint statement from Nick and Mariah, who say: “We are so elated to finally be able to show you some pictures of the beloved additions to our family…

Looks like Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon‘s baby daughter Monroe is already ready for a diva life in the spotlight. She’s definitely honed her, “back off paparazzi” skills to perfection. It’s almost as good as Pink giving the paps the finger so they can’t publish pics of her baby daughter Willow.

Mariah Tweeted this photo Saturday with the caption, “This is baby Monroe saying ‘no pictures dahhhhling’ at 7+1/2 weeks..oh dear :).”

Perhaps daddy Cannon was serious when he described Monroe and her twin brother Moroccan as: “My son is laid back like me. My daughter’s a diva like her mom! When my daughter wants something, she’ll let you know immediately.”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon‘s twins arrived Saturday — a boy and a girl — and Mariah has been teasing her fans ever since about the names chosen for her babies.

But, she has finally revealed the names on her blog:  The baby girl is named Monroe Cannon after Marilyn Monroe, Carey’s lifelong inspiration. The baby boy is now Moroccan Scott Cannon.

The top floor of Carey’s New York City apartment is called the ‘Moroccan Room’ based on its North African feel, and that served as the inspiration behind her son’s name. 
I love the names. LOVE THEM!

Mariah Carey Gives Birth To Twins On Wedding Anniversary!

Mariah Carey and husband, Nick Cannon, are proud parents of baby twins…And this happened on their fourth wedding anniversary! Carey gave birth to her twins Saturday, a girl and a boy, via a C-section.

Carey’s Twitter reads: “Congratulations! Mariah & Nick celebrate their fourth anniversary by becoming parents to a baby girl & boy. More @ http://mariah.is/mlSnAj”

Cannon tweeted, “My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!”

Nick Cannon Does The Unthinkable: Blurts Out Home Telephone Number On The Radio

Nick Cannon is admittedly pretty preoccupied with wife Mariah Carey‘s pregnancy because he did the unthinkable last week: Blurt out his home telephone number on the radio!

The host of a program on New York City’s WXRK 92.3 NOW got so excited about the impending birth, he spontaneously spilled the couple’s digits. At first, Cannon didn’t think much of what he had done. He Tweeted: 
“Home phone numbers are just like Twitter anyway. I use this more than I use my home phone. So what’s the big deal?
He added: “Think my wife will be mad at me? Lol … I don’t care. I’m the man!!” After some real contemplation, Cannon finally realized this may be a bigger deal that he had originally thought. He took to Twitter again:
“My wife is going to kill me over this!” He added, “Sometimes I get a little too carried away on the radio” and “Just gave out my home phone # on air and my pregnant wife picked up the line OOPS!”

Right after the major faux pas, of course the couple’s phone got flooded with calls. And before Mariah was too aware of what was going on, she even answered one lucky caller’s attempt to get through to the famous singer.

“Thanks to my amazing wife for being a good sport and allowing me to make good radio. @MariahCarey you are the best!” Nice way to CYA Nick!

Mariah Carey‘s belly keeps growing and growing, yet, there is still no baby–or babies I should say since she’s pregnant with twins!

Mariah obviously loves to show off the expansive baby bump because she’s either Tweeting pics of her artistically painted belly, or showing up naked on cover of OK Magazine.

This time, Mariah even enlisted the help of her hubbie Nick Cannon for the pictures. 
Nick was at the Reality Rocks Expo Saturday to promote the upcoming show he’s producing, starring Peter and Cory Gunz, and called, Son of a Gun. 
Nick was late to the panel saying, “I am on baby watch, that’s why I am late. It’s gonna be any day now, any day!”

It’s no other than the tummy of Mariah Carey who seems overjoyed by the impending birth of her twins, one boy and one girl – to the point of painting a butterfly on her belly…well, we don’t really know who did the painting. Maybe it was her hubbie, Nick Cannon…

The TwitPic came one day after Carey shared that she had contractions which had sent her briefly to the hospital. In another Tweet the famous singer wrote: “[The babies] almost came on 3/27 … We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: ).”
