My fave guitarist – and Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora stopped by The Grove On Tuesday for an interview with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez.
Sambora plugged his new solo album, “Aftermath of a Lowdown.” In particular, he spoke about the song “Every Road Leads Home to You” which he called a tribute to his 14-year-old daughter Ava–the inspiration behind his recent sobriety. Continue reading
SPOTTED: In the heat of the LA afternoon sun, Dancing With The Stars reigning champ Peta Murgatroyd was seen sweating it up with Mario Lopez at The Grove to promote LA Cycle House.
The Australian beauty and her Extra host work out buddy were dressed in their comfy workout clothes; she in a pair of tight black leggings and grey sweatshirt; he in a sleeveless Nike vest and shorts, showing off his chiseled arms. It was definitely a refreshing sight for all to see.

The latest new dance craze which started in South Korea and since gone viral on YouTube is making its way on streets and shopping malls of Los Angeles. Psy, the man behind the ‘Gangnam Style’ frenzy was at The Grove in Los Angeles Monday for an interview with Maria Menounos and Mario Lopez of Extra when the TV hosts broke into a well-prepared flash mob with hundreds of dancers.

SPOTTED: Actress Eva Longoria at The Grove for an interview with Mario Lopez of Extra.
SPOTTED: Robin Thicke and his adorable 2-year-old son Julian at The Grove in Los Angeles. Daddy was there to interview with Mario Lopez of Extra while Julian watched from the sidelines. Afterwards, Robin planted a sweet smooch on his son as the two walked off to their car.
The Duets co-host and soulful musician recently told the Kansas City Star that Julian is growing up in his father’s talented footsteps already: “[Julian] has incredible pitch. He wakes up every morning and before he even cries to be taken out of his crib, the first thing he does is sing. He just kind of lies there in his crib and sings songs for a little while.”
SPOTTED: Def Leppard members Joe Elliott, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell appeared at The Grove for an interview and live acoustic performance on Extra TV.
The band played ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ and ‘Bringin’ On The Heartbreak’ and promoted Rock Of Ages movie during their interview.
Jessica Sanchez is a big fan of American Idol winner Phillip Phillips. The Idol runner-up told reporters right after the finale: “I really think that Phillip deserves to win and I’m so happy for him…He has his funny side and his humble side and he’s just an amazing, original artist.”
Well, Ms. Sanchez, can’t we say the same about you? Having met you now on several occasions I can honestly say they don’t come any more funny or humble or talented than you do. Not to mention cute. Congrats!
SPOTTED: Colombian cross-over sensation Juanes promoted his newest CD today in an interview with ‘Extra’s’ Mario Lopez at The Grove in Los Angeles, California on May 23, 2012. The album title will be released on May 29th, 2012.
SPOTTED: The new “Bachelorette” Emily Maynard was at The Grove May 22 for an interview by Mario Lopez for “Extra!”
“I had a million reservations [about being the next Bachelorette] and I said no to anybody who would listen. But time went on, we started talking again, and they were so accommodating that it was [too] great an opportunity to pass up,” the 26-year-old single mom said.
“I had a great group of guys. I had the time of my life and learned so much about myself,” Maynard added. “It was the best experience getting to travel and to give Ricki the opportunity to see things she wouldn’t have otherwise.”
When asked who the front-runners are, Emily named a few of the men including Sean, Ari, and Jef…but she wouldn’t divulge any more than that!
