The Apes still rule the box office. In its second weekend,
Rise of the Planet of the Apes remained on top of the box office, taking in an estimated $27.5 million.

A surprising no. 2 film of the weekend was The Help, with an estimated $25.5 million in sales. Early predictions estimated that the movie would open around $18 million, but positive word-of-mouth generated after its Wednesday opening helped in the weekend sales of the movie.
