When Rihanna released her video for S&M, I initially thought it must have been directed by celebrity photographer David LaChapelle. Surprisingly, it was not.
But seems like LaChapelle thought the same thing as I did. He sent this Tweet which he later deleted, “@rihanna The next time you make a David LaChapelle video you should probably hire David LaChapelle.”
LaChapelle is now suing Rihanna claiming her video copies the “feel, tone, mood, theme, colours, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting” of eight of his images. You can see the still images on Daily Mail. I can’t say LaChappelle is wrong…

I don’t know how else to say this, other than, Lady Gaga arrived at the 2011 Grammy Awards in an egg. Yep, an egg.
Her stylist Nicola tweeted, “This is Nicola, Haus of Gaga: Gaga is in incubation. Tonight’s performance is in collaboration with Hussein Chalayan and House of Mugler. X”

It’s a fun song with a message for equality. But I can’t help and think that it kinda sounds like Madonna’s Express Yourself….what do you think?

Rihanna’s video for her hot new song S&M has just been released and although artistically I love it, I just can’t get past the former victim of domestic violence singing, “Cause I may be bad but I’m perfectly good at it. Sex in the air. I don’t care, I love the smell of it. Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me.”
Ya ya I know, there is a difference when it’s consensual…but still..
