Video: Britney Spears Performs At Secret Las Vegas Shows

Britney Spears performed at two not-so-secret shows Friday night at the Palms Casino Resort’s Rain Nightclub in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The concerts were supposed to be a secret and were not announced until the day of the event when Brit took to Twitter:

“Looks like my little secret isnt a secret anymore. Whos coming to watch me take the stage TONIGHT at @RainLasVegas at @PalmsLasVegas?” 

Brit first performed a private show at 8 p.m., followed by a midnight concert open to the general public with tickets selling for $60. The 45-minute set featured tracks from her upcoming Femme Fatale album and was shot by MTV for a special to coincide with the release of her album.
During the shows, Britney had several costume and set changes and Jersey Shore‘s Pauly D entertained and warmed up the quaint crowd of about 1,000 before the festivities started. Britney performed Hold It Against Me, Big Fat Bass and Till The World Ends.

This was Brit’s first pulic performance since her Circus tour in 2009. Her boyfriend Jason Trawick was on the scene as was her dad, Jamie Spears.

Pauly D Becomes First “Jersey Shore” Cast Member To Get Own Spin-Off Show

After months of rumors about possible spin-offs, looks like Jersey Shore‘s Pauly D, a.k.a. Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, is the first cast member to actually be getting his own show!

Chris Linn, MTV Executive Vice President of Programming, said yesterday that MTV has in fact closed a series option deal with Pauly to pick up his pilot which has already been shot. Linn says viewers are “curious about his life away from the shore.”
Wait – that means Pauly D has a life away from the shore?!

According to the release announcing the spin-off, MTV feels that Pauly has “distinguished himself on-screen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can’t help but want to hang out with and we know viewers are curious about his life away from the shore.”
Rumor has it that more Jersey Shore cast members will be getting their own shows as well – I will keep you posted as each rumor becomes fact or debunked!

MTV Releases Promo Photos For Season 3 Of Jersey Shore

You all have been so patient but you don’t have much longer to wait for your fave self-proclaimed, fist-pumping guidos and guidettes of Jersey Shore (season 3) to make their triumphant TV return in less than a month!

I know, the waiting has been pretty tough on some of you, but don’t worry, while you continue to wait for the season premiere of America’s guiltiest pleasure, you now can keep yourself somewhat busy by  salivating over the first batch of promo photos which MTV has kindly released for the new season.

Thank you MTV for being in such a giving holiday mood. Season 3 of Jersey Shore will debut January 6– What a festive way to ring in the new year.
