One of the American Idol front runners, Phillip Phillips, was rushed to the hospital yesterday morning for what appears to be kidney stones issues.

Phillip Phillips did the impossible. After Jessica Sanchez blew our minds with her performance of Whitney Houston’s classic I Will Always Love You, Phillips more than held his own rocking out Dave Matthews style to Stevie Wonder’s Superstition.
Before Phillips took the stage, he blew away guest mentor Mary J. Blige and Jimmy Iovine in rehearsals. Iovine described Phillips as “that rare find of great musician and great singer,” adding that “he comes batteries included.” Continue reading
