Leonardo DiCaprio Named Highest-Grossing 2010 Actor – See Top 10 List Here

Forbes has yet another list, and has named Leonardo DiCaprio the highest-grossing actor of the year.

That’s to be expected for DiCaprio who had two monster movies this year: Shutter Island and Inception. Inception alone made $825 million, quite an impressive feat considering it lacked the benefit of high-priced 3-D tickets inflating the total.

Surprisingly though, newcomer Mia Wasikowska, the breakout star of Alice in Wonderland, came in second! Crazy.

Here’s the top ten:

1. Leonardo DiCaprio $1.1 billion
2. Mia Wasikowska $1.03 billion
3. Johnny Depp $1.03 billion
4. Robert Downey Jr. $807 million
5. Daniel Radcliffe $780 million
6. Robert Pattinson $749 million
7. Kristen Stewart $698 million
8. Sam Worthington $494 million
9. Jaden Smith $359 million
10. Jackie Chan $359 million

Robert Pattinson & Reese Witherspoon Star In “Water For Elephants” -Watch Movie Trailer

Reese Witherspoon took a two year break from movie making but now has a couple of films coming out in a row: How Do You Know which is set for release on Friday and then, the upcoming Water for Elephants, set for an April 15 debut. Interestingly enough, both movies trap Witherspoon in a love triangle.

Set mostly in the 1930s, Water for Elephants co-stars Robert Pattinson as a veterinary student who quits school after a family tragedy and ends up accidentally on a circus train. On the train he runs into circus ringleader August, played by Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, and his wife, Marlena, played by Witherspoon.

For the rest, you will have to watch the story unfold on the big screen or read the best-seller novel by the same name, written by Sara Gruen. Here is the trailer for now:

Breaking Dawn Kissing Video Leaked – Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson’s Beach Kissing Scene

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

Last week, Director Bill Condon threw all of us Twihards a bone by tweeting a still photo of Breaking DawnThat one ambiguous shot was enough to send all of us Twihards into a state of utter dizziness.

But now, oh my, a video has surfaced capturing a couple of takes of the beach kissing scene between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson – A scene celebrating the honeymoon of Bella and Edward.

There is no sound, but, I don’t think any sound would have been loud enough anyway to drown out the screams of fans watching this masterpiece! So, who needs sound…

November 18, 2011….Get here already!

In the meantime, enjoy this:

Breaking Dawn – First Movie Photo Is Released – Click “More” To See!

Hey Twilight saga fans – Can’t wait until Breaking Dawn hits the theaters November 18, 2011? Me either.

Well, Director Bill Condon has thrown us all a bone by sending the first pic from the movie via Twitter, and, well, it’s a doozy!
What did he Tweet? It’s a real still shot from the movie which may not make any sense to anyone who has not read the Twilight books, but which is crystal clear to us Twihards: A shot of Bella in bed, clutching a fist full of feathers.
Oh, how I can’t wait….
Here it is….It’s not much, but it’s just enough to make you get anxious for the release of the movie in less than a year…

Robert Pattinson Runs From Paparazzi But Doesn’t Get Far [Video]

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

Imagine having a really bad day. And imagine wanting nothing more than hiding from the world.

Well, now, imagine being one of the most famous actors in the world, having a bad day.
Apparently, that is what Robert Pattinson was dealing with – a bad day – and a pack of Paparazzi which would not leave him alone even after Pattinson asked cops for help.
I ask you: Is fame worth the price of losing your privacy?

Robert Pattinson Kristin Stewart Surprise Fans At Eclipse Screening

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

It’s not every day that two of the hottest stars in America (and arguably the world) happen to make a surprise showing at a screening of the number one movie in the US. But that is exactly what happened Monday night (July 5th) at a screening of Eclipse in Century City, CA when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart made a surprise appearance to the utter delight of 100’s of screaming fans.

Pretty cool clip, despite or perhaps even because of the shrieking fans. I have one question: Why was I not invited to this theater which is 15 minutes away? Possibly a better question: Where was Taylor Lautner?

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Movie Review – Are You Kidding Me?

I just came across an article in a well-known publication, aggregating movie reviews of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse rendered by several well-known movie critics.  Are you kidding me? People actually made an effort to review this movie? I am here to tell you that no one will give these reviews any thought or serious weight. Moviegoers either love or loathe these movies and no so-called ‘movie expert’ is going to change our minds.

After two installments of Twilight, both already having been seen by a gazillion people or ignored by the rest of humanity, we know more or less what Eclipse will deliver. I think most people that watch movies in general would fall in one of three camps when it comes to Twilight. The first camp is composed of TwiHards who love this movie and actually believe it is ground-breaking and earth-shattering. They have been waiting seven months since the release of New Moon to see Eclipse and no movie critic is going to stand in the way of their stampede to the movie theater.

The second camp include other TwiHards who know this movie saga sucks, but can’t help loving it for a million other unexplainable reasons. Those that fall in this camp are aware of what this movie series is and what it isn’t. They realize this movie series, despite having horrible dialogue, robotic acting and zero character development still has inexplicably found a way into popular culture. Twilight somehow magically transforms women (and probably men if they admit to it) of all ages back to their 16-year old selves; a time in our lives when we believed that once-in-a-lifetime soul mate kinda love was possible for us all. You know, the kind of love which would make you do stupid things like give up your life as a human, your family, your friends, everything. Only so you could become a blood-sucking vampire and be able to make love to said soul mate without being shattered by his vampire strength. We don’t need Oscar-worthy acting, or believable dialogue to transport us to this place in our minds that we still want to dearly hang on to. So, this group would say, “Spare us movie critics, we need to get to our pre-purchased movie showing.”

The last camp of movie goers are people who hate the entire Twilight saga for no apparent reason at all, or happen to actually have good taste in movies. No glowing review of Eclipse or impassioned trashing, is going to make a difference to the haters of the series.

I’ll admit I fall into camp #2. I hate Edward’s acting, his glare, his iciness. I hate Bella’s lip biting even more. I laugh at the fact that there could be nice, vegetarian vampires in the world. But I still can’t help rooting for Bella to be turned into a cold lifeless vampire so she can eternally be bound to her one true love, Edward.

So, tell me, who are the critics writing for? Would a review of Eclipse change your mind, one way or another? Which camp do you fall under? And if you still don’t own New Moon on DVD and want to, it’s on sale on Amazon! Click here.

Oprah, Lady Gaga, Sandra Bullock, Twilight Cast, Beyonce, Madonna Top Forbes Celebrity 100 List

Pants-less pop stars, late-night warriors and sexy vampires spiced up the fame game last year, withLady GagaConan O’Brien and Twilight superstars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson joining the Forbes Celebrity 100 List for the first time. But the big news is that the last 12 months was the year of the women! The annual list of the most powerful celebrities included 6 women in the top 10! I say, it’s about time. Rankings are based on earnings in the past 12 months, as well as visibility across print, television, radio, and online presence.

Earning $315 million over the past 12 months helped Oprah take over the number one spot from Angelina Jolie, who was 2009’s overall winner. Angelina fell to number 18 this year. Newcomer on the list with a surprising number 4 showing is Lady Gaga. Beyonce is at number 2 with earnings of $87 million thanks to her 90-plus date global tour, and a portfolio which includes album sales, her House of Dereon fashion line and a slew of endorsement deals. Sandra Bullock also makes the list at #9. Rounding out the top 10 for women is a surprise showing for Britney Spears at number 6 and Madonna at number 10.

As far as notable no-shows are concerned, Will Smith and 50 Cent both dropped off of the list because of their lack of presence in 2009; Smith made no new films and 50 Cent’s album sold a meager 500,000 copies. To see who else made or did not make the list, check out Forbes.

Robert Pattinson Wants a Date. Any Takers?

If Robert Pattinson can’t get a date, who can? Robert told Jenna Bush Hager on Monday’s Today Show: “I would like to go on a date…I’m just saying. I’m just putting that out there. Because I never go on dates anymore.”

Robert was also asked what he thinks about the recent news that the fourth Twilight novel, Breaking Dawn, will be shot as two films. Robert said, “It’s a little bit daunting cause it’s a long shoot. The last time, when we were shooting Eclipse in Vancouver, the entire paparazzi population of L.A. came up and just camped outside the hotel. So, if it’s in Vancouver, I’ll probably end up getting cabin fever and end up jumping off the balcony.”

This is my response to Robert: Robert, don’t worry. If you ever need a date, I know plenty of amazing women who would jump at the chance of going out with you, some of them even live in Vancouver, or nearby Portland, so, you won’t have to fear cabin fever. Just say the word…Here is the interview with Today Show:
