Scarlett Johansson Is Named GQ’s “Babe Of The Year”

This will make a lot of its readers happy: Scarlett Johansson has been named “Babe of the Year” by GQ Magazine

The magazine writes, “At 26, she remains fresh-faced, curious, trying on new moods and outlets of expression as easily as she changes her hair color.

“This is what we love about Scarlett: that she’s game, that she’s good, that she can try on all these guises without seeming to try too hard. And all the while still seem genuinely like the observant, inquisitive (and very cute) girl in transition we fell for in Lost in Translation.”

Scarlett looks amazing even in a simple Tank dress T by Alexander Wang.

Ryan Reynolds Speaks To GQ About His Marriage To Scarlett Johansson

Ryan Reynolds has given an interview to GQ this month discussing lots of subjects including his marriage to Scarlett Johansson.

Reynolds speaks about the difficulty of living in the public eye while married to another famous person: “Ninety-nine point nine percent of [the rumors] is just absurd. Silly, you know. And then maybe a relative will call me and ask if I adopted a baby from Ghana.”

On trying to keep his private life private, Reynolds says: “I think it’s embellished upon. It hasn’t been some covert operation. I mean, certainly the wedding was, but I believe anyone should have the right to have a private wedding ceremony. I think if anything’s sacred it should be that. But for the most part—I can only speak for me, as one-half of that relationship—I choose to remain as private as possible without being secretive. Things change when you get married in general, but in terms of being a couple that’s in a public situation and speculated about and all that nonsense, it’s changed a little bit. I’m a little more guarded, I think. I’m a little bit more wary of having my relationship turning into a soap opera. I’ve just unilaterally not addressed it. That’s kind of been the fail-safe for me.”

This issue of GQ hits the stands September 21st.
