So You Think You Can Dance July 20, 2011 episode paired Sasha with All-star Twitch to perform a hot little Christopher Scott routine about getting the passion back in a relationship over the breakfast table. They did the number to Misty Blue by Dorothy Moore.
Nigel Lythgoe called it a very memorable routine and loved their chemistry. He also said he can’t wait for Ellen DeGeneres to mimic this routine on the show.
Neil Patrick Harris called it the best routine of the show until then and said wants them to dance every routine together. He called the dance, spectacular.
Mary Murphy called Sasha an All star between lots of screaming and squealing. She also said the dance was a sexy ass number.
On Wednesday July 20, 2011 episode of So You Think You Can Dance, Jordan was paired with All-star Brandon to perform a contemporary routine choreographed by Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.
The dance was about love and the insanity of love and was performed against Who You Are by Jessie J. Jordan is topless which sends the crowd into a frenzy but Jordan definitely stole the show with her moves.
Guest judge Neil Patrick Harris said he watched Jordan feel that number and she was impressive and beautiful. Mary Murphy said Jordan was fearless and said she is just fantastic. Nigel Lythgoe gushed over Jordan and said, “You have been in the bottom 2 for two weeks, wake up dance fans and keep this girl in the competition.”
Caitlynn Lawson and Mitchell Kelly performed a hip-hop routine the fifth week (Top 12) of competition (July 13) on So You Think You Can Dance. Their routine was choreographed by
Christopher Scotton to Break The Chain by Lupe Fiasco Ft. Eric Turner and Sway.

Nigel Lythgoe: “All I want at the end of the day is for you to dance together and make it look like you’re dancing together….Needed harder work for me.”
Mary Murphy: “I feel like you still command attention in what you did, so I felt constantly drawn to you…You guys are just so talented in everything that you do. It just fell a little bit short tonight.”
Jesse Tyler Ferguson: “You two dance with so much power every time I see you..it’s just astonishing…I didn’t quite see where this amazing message was in the dance.”
Sonya Tayeh: “It just got a little too jumbled for me.”

For their second dance, they did a hot raunchy jazz routine choreographed by Travis Wall to Piece of My Heart by Janice Joplin.
Nigel: “I don’t really want to say anything to Caitlynn, because I’d incriminate myself as a dirty old man. This routine tonight was absolutely sensational.”
Mary: “I loved it! It was incredible. There was some tough stuff in this routine, and you guys really did it well. I loved it loved it loved it.”
Jesse: “Only you can prevent forest fires. By never dancing in a forest like that…It was fantastic.”
Sonya: “That was really, really hot. Caitlynn, dang! She’s so hot. You shouldn’t be that hot. You’re just a baby…Mitch… Sometimes I don’t feel like I know where you are…Overall, it was siiiiick.”
Melanie Moore and Marko Germar performed a Tango choreographed by (Dancing with The Stars‘) Louis Van Amstel on Wednesday July 13 episode of So You Think You Can Dance. The accompanying song was Triptico (Gotan Project).

Nigel Lythgoe: “I think you’ve taken one of those limitless pills that teaches you how to speed-learn the tango….Really tremendous!”
Mary Murphy: “There were a few awkward shapes..I thought you guys did a really good job.”

Sonya Tayeh: “I don’t understand how every time I watch you dance, you make me lose my breath…Every step both of you take is from the deepest place.”

Nigel: “There is something magical about the pair of you when you work together….This didn’t feel like you’d been choreographed.”
Mary: “It really, truly has been magnificent…Everything was flawless. For sure, you guys are two shining stars on this show.”
Jesse: “My mind has been blown…It’s like Braille on my arm right now…This is my new favorite.”
Sonya: “I’m just so grateful that this is the future of dance…I just want to say thank you, and please stay humble.”
On Wednesday night’s (July 13, 2011) So You Think You Can Dance, Jordan Casanova and Tadd Gadduang danced a Travis Wall choreographed contemporary routine to Brotsjur by Olafur Arnalds.

Nigel Lythgoe: “It was remarkable. It really was…It took two of you to do this routine, and the pair of you were absolutely tremendous.”
Mary Murphy: “Beautiful! Dark! Magnificent!
Jesse Tyler Ferguson: “Travis took the classic vulture stalks boy… that we all know so well…That proves that the guys are in it to win it.”
Sonya Tayeh: “I really wish I could swear. A lot. This is just the true artistry that makes you want to cry.”

Nigel: “I thought it could have been a little quirkier.” “It was OK. It… it was OK.” Mary: “It just wasn’t strong enough.” Jesse: “I felt that it was a bit of a grab bag…This wasn’t my favorite of yours.” Sonya: “I just felt a little underwhelmed. And it was a jumble of things…I know your abilities and I didn’t see them. I know your craft, and I didn’t see it.”

Caitlynn Lawson and Mitchell Kelly performed a romantic, lift-filled contemporary routine on the fourth week (Top 14) of competition (July 6) on So You Think You Can Dance.
During the pre-tape, we learned that Caitlynn is an outdoors kind of girl and finishes all of her sentences with a giggle. Mitchell lost his father when he was only two and lived in a car with his mother before auditioning in Atlanta. Their routine was choreographed by Mandy Moore to Celine Dion’s To Love You More.
Here is a recap summary of what the judges said: Mary Murphy said it was her favorite number of the night. She called the dance beautiful and came to tears she was so moved. Nigel Lythgoe said the emotion in the routine grabbed everyone and the lifts and leaps just flowed. Nigel said the routine took his breath away and agreed that this was the best routine of the night. Guest judge Carmen Electra said they were powerful and larger than life. Guest judge Travis Wall said it was unbelievable and said Caitlynn is the surprise of the season for him.
Sasha Mallory and Alexander Fost performed a hip hop routine, aiming for swag, on the fourth week of competition (July 6) on So You Think You Can Dance.
During the pre-tape, we learned that Sasha’s family is all about partying, while Alexander’s father used to be a Hollywood actor. Their routine was about a first date and Alexander wanting a kiss when it was all over. Choreographed by Shaun Evaristo, the number was danced to To The Moon by Miguel.
Here is a recap summary of what the judges said: Guest judge Carmen Electra said Sasha was popping so hard that she didn’t get the sense of the two as a couple. Nigel Lythgoe said it felt like Hip Hop 101 (I agree) and recommended they go through Hip Hop for Dummies. Mary Murphy said she didn’t see the swag. Guest judge Travis Wall “didn’t hate it,” but said the two should work on their musicality.
Melanie Moore and Marko Germar performed a show stopping Jazz routine on the fourth week of competition (July 6) on So You Think You Can Dance.
During the pre-tape, we found out Marko rocks a mean drag queen and Melanie has a long-term boyfriend named Mitchell. Their routine was reminiscent of West Wide Story or Romeo and Juliet: A couple who run away from their families because the families have hated each other for centuries. Choreographed by Ray Leeper, the number was danced to Americano by Lady Gaga.
Here is a recap summary of what the judges said: Guest judge Travis Wall thought Marko was strong and said Melanie is amazing. He also said she is by far his favorite dancer in the competition. Guest judge Carmen Electra also said Melanie is strong and called her legs “ridiculous!” Nigel Lythgoe said the pair’s technique matches their performance. Mary Murphy said, “Wow!” And added that the couple has leap and bounds of passion. She called Melanie brilliant and renamed Marko, “Domination Man!”
