The Redemption Island challenge was called the sand bean bag toss. Papa Bear and Christine went head-to-head and had to toss bean bags onto 10 podiums. The first one to land a bag on each of ten crates would win.
Christine won the duel for the second week in a row and so Papa Bear was eliminated.

Semhar and Christine battled it out in the first Redemption Island duel.

Ozzy and Coach locked in an epic battle for tonight’s challenge while Brandon kept trying to hide his identity from the tribe until all is revealed tonight. Come back for all the spoilers!

DUEL UPDATE: Tree mail arrives telling the castaways that each tribe can choose two people each to watch the duel on Redemption Island. Coach and Stacey go for Upolo and Ozzy and Elyse for Savaii. The duel consists of an endurance competition with each person holding on to a pole while balancing a totem statue. Semhar lost her grip and Christine wins, waiting for her next opponent. Semhar was eliminated.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE UPDATE
: For this challenge, one person from each tribe had to race in water to fetch a bag, the rest of the tribe had to turn a big wheel which brought the tribe member in the water back to the beach. They then had to retrieve five banners the first team to have them all down was the winner. Opolu won the immunity challenge. They also won some rewards: Luxury food items.

VOTING UPDATE: At Savaii the consensus seems to be to vote out either Papa Bear (Mark) or Cochran. They tell Papa Bear that Cochran will be voted out but he does not believe it. He runs to the beach digging for the Idol until Elyse catches him and Papa Bear pretends that he found it as a strategy to keep himself safe. BUT Ozzy is laughing at the whole situation because he actually did find the Idol to no one’s knowledge.

Third person voted out of Survivor South Pacific, Papa Bear.

‘Survivor’ Winner Richard Hatch Going To Jail. Again.

Let’s hope Donald Trump has no intention of picking Survivor winner Richard Hatch as his next apprentice on the current season of Celebrity Apprentice because Hatch may not be around to fulfill his Trumptastic duties. Why not? Hatch may be heading back to jail; real soon.

Hatch served over three years in prison from 2006-09 for failing to file and pay taxes on his $1 million Survivor prize winnings. Once he got out of jail, he was placed on probation and among other conditions, he was required to file and pay his 2000 and 2001 taxes.

Apparently, Hatch has failed to learn his lesson and has not done what the rest of us do: Pay Uncle Sam. His punishment? He’ll be returning to jail for an additional nine months. The AP reports that the judge gave him “three months longer than the guidelines to deter him and others who would flout the terms of supervised release.”

Hatch’s sentence is scheduled to start on Monday, but he says he will appeal. We shall see if he wins his appeal. Or here is a better idea Richard: PAY UP! We all do.

Survivor: Nicaragua Crowns A New Million Dollar Winner – Spoiler Alert

After 39 days, Survivor: Nicaragua narrowed the field of competitors to five people. In a season which pinned the young versus the old, “old” players Dan Lembo and Holly Hoffman remained against Chase Rice, Matthew “Sash” Lenahan and Jud “Fabio” Birza.

SPOILER ALERT: During the two-hour finale Sunday night, Dan was the first to be voted off, followed by Holly who was next to leave.

Chase, Sash and Fabio then faced the jury and Chase and Sash’s many broken alliances came back to haunt them and they were targeted by the jury members.

In the finale’s live part Sunday night, Jeff Probst announced that Fabio was the last survivor and the winner of the $1 million prize. Fabio beat Chase by one vote and Sash came in third.
