Katy was introduced by Extra‘s Mario Lopez and took several questions from the crowd that had lined up since 1 AM the night before for a chance to meet and greet their pretty in pink idol.

Madison Alamia, Jason ‘No Bones’ Smith, Nick ‘Nicholicious’ Mara, Thomas ‘T-Money’ Miceli, Louis ‘Da Pitbull’ DiPippa and Michael ‘Spikey Mikey’ Fusco all showed up to the set to perform one dance for the TV show and the immense crowd of screaming fans.
SPOTTED: American Idol runner-up, Lauren Alaina, performing at the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Concert at The Grove in Los Angeles.
The ceremony also included performances by Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, Robin Thicke, Il Divo and Sean Kingston. Alaina was most excited to see Gavin DeGraw, gushing via Twitter, that “he’s amazing!”
The annual “Hollywood Christmas Celebration at The Grove” was held Sunday, November 13, 2011, bringing the spirit of the holiday season to Los Angeles.
