Brand New Amy Winehouse Album To Be Released

A posthumous album from Amy Winehouse is in the works. Island Records will be releasing 12 new tracks from the late singer on an album entitled, Lioness: Hidden Treasures. The album will be out December 5.

After listening to the album, Mitch Winehouse, Amy’s father, said, “It wasn’t until I sat down with the rest of the family and listened to this album that I fully appreciated the breadth of Amy’s talent.”

“From jazz standards to hip-hop songs, it really took my breath away,” a grieving Mitch continued, “I never realized what a true genius she was.”

The album is produced by friends Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi and will be Winehouse’s third release. She died this July at age 27.

Part of the album sales will benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation, established after her death to help those battling addiction.

After making headlines for losing 40 pounds, actor Jonah Hill headed to The Grove to talk about his new animated series, “Allen Gregory.” The slimmed-down funnyman said, “I just started eating healthy and exercising… and that’s about it.” He added, “I wish there was some amazing book that had all the world’s secrets, but unfortunately, it’s just hard work.”

Hill, who voices a precocious 7-year-old named Allen Gregory DeLongpre, said the character is not mirrored after himself. Hill explained, “Allen Gregory is like the most arrogant kid to walk the face of the earth.”

The half-hour show focuses on the self-proclaimed genius, who is being raised by his father Richard, and Jeremy — his dad’s life partner.

In addition to his role on “Allen Gregory,” Hill has starred in “Moneyball,” which is getting Oscar buzz, and is gearing up for his upcoming R-rated comedy, “The Sitter,” slated for a December release”Allen Gregory” premieres Sunday at 8:30 PM, only on FOX.

‘In Living Color’ Heads Back To Fox With Two New Specials

Fox is reviving its 1990’s skit comedy, In Living Color.

Original creator and producer Keenen Ivory Wayans is set to produce and host two half-hour specials based on the series which helped launch the careers of his own family as well as those of Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx, David Alan Grier and others.

The renewal will be a contemporary take on the show and will star a new cast of comedians and feature guest musical performers.
The first two episodes will air this spring and if the ratings are strong, Fox will order additional shows for next fall or mid-season.

Justin Bieber’s Manager Says Bieber’s Balls Have Dropped & Compares Him To The Beatles, Seriously.

I really can’t decide which statement is more hilarious: The fact that Justin Bieber‘s manager compared his client to The Beatles or his saying that The Biebs’ balls have dropped, musically speaking.

Ya, he really said both.

In trying to explain why Bieber’s voice sounds deeper on his new Mistletoe album, Scooter Braun said it’s because JB’s vocal cords have matured.

“Vocally, his balls have dropped,” Braun told Billboard.

OK, we got it. Thanks.

Now, the bit about The Beatles comparison:
“All the hype and the kids running down the street screaming, you lose the chance to say that this started because of the music. This album lets the music speak for itself. I don’t want to draw comparisons, but there was a band during the British Invasion that had girls screaming at them. I think you know who I’m talking about.”

Ya, we know who you’re talking about – just not sure how many of us quite agree.

Robert Pattinson: ‘Kristen Stewart And I Are Already Married’

Robert Pattinson knows exactly what to say to create a frenzy.

While promoting Breaking Dawn Part 1 over in Europe, he joked during an interview in Sweden that he and (almost confirmed) real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart just might be married already.

“The [Breaking Dawn] wedding scene’s funny because we used a real priest. So technically [Kristen and I] are already married because he did all the things you would do in a normal ceremony. So we don’t have a civil union in law, but I guess in the church we are actually married.”
WOAH! Someone should really check into this…I mean, a real priest is a real priest and this is a done deal, right?

Pattinson also said the movie sex scenes were difficult for him:

“The sex scenes were difficult. The set was crazy and you have about 20 people in the room and someone saying things like: ‘No, Bella would not have made that noise. Can we do it again?’ It was very charged, but a very tender and sentimental scene. It’s not a scene from the book, so everyone was nervous about doing it right. A ton of other people were nervous. And, Kristen and I were both worried about the shape of our bodies would look on camera. We felt vulnerable.”

Robert also admitted that he does not understand what the Twilight books try to say about sex in general:

“[Bella] is the one who initiates the sex. It’s a different move and I like that it’s not so predictable. Bella is already pushing for it in the movie and it’s Edward that seems scared. I’ve never been able to relate to that fear of sex or sexuality. It’s funny that all three movies portray sex as something scary and then, when they have sex in the fourth movie, they have a child with really rather devastating consequences. I’m not sure what they are trying to say. . .never have sex with anyone ever?”

Adele Cancels All 2011 Concerts, Will Undergo Throat Surgery

It’s been a long year for Adele who has been hit with a series of canceled tour dates and increasing bouts of  laryngitis.

But her year just got longer.

Her record company announced with “deep regret” this morning that Adele has canceled all of the remaining concert dates and all other promotional appearances for the rest of the year.

“She is to undergo surgery to alleviate the current issues with her throat and a full recovery is expected,” the record company said. “As a result, doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments.”

The record company did not reveal when the surgery will take place, or when Adele would return to the stage; all we can do is pray that the 23-year-old crooner will fully recover.

Jennifer Lopez: “I’ve Finally Learned You’ve Got To Love Yourself First”

Jennifer Lopez looks amazing on the cover of Glamour, sporting a a red Chloë Sevigny bustier and black pants. She’s also decked out in a Swarovski crystal anchor necklace by Salvatore Ferragamo, a Michael Kors gold necklace, Verdura gold bracelet, two Chanel Fine Jewelry gold, black onyx, and diamond bracelets, a Lorraine Schwartz white gold diamond bracelet, a Verdura gold, platinum, and diamond wide link bracelet and a Pomellato rose gold and diamond bracelet.

Here are some excerpts from the accompanying interview:

J.Lo on her next relationship:
“I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media—they want to rush everything.”

J.Lo on her style:
“The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx—jeans, cut-up T-shirts—I still like. But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.”

J.Lo on love and relationship lessons she’s learned:
“I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all. You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.”
