VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY: Tom Cruise Dancing At Friend’s Wedding

VIDEO CLIP OF THE DAY.

Tom Cruise showed off his moves on the dance floor of a friend’s wedding last weekend. Tom and Katie Holmes headed to Palm Springs to celebrate the nuptials of mutual friends, Sandy Modic and David Ellison. David also happens to be the executive producer of Tom Cruise’s upcoming new movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

“Suri went to bed before the reception, and then Tom had a dance-off with a few of the guys in the wedding party,” a source told Page Six.

At the reception, a dance war was requested by one of the guests. And of course, Cruise accepted the dance off challenge. Cruise did a little bit of the worm to Maroon 5’s Moves Like Jagger. I can’t really describe it, you gotta watch the TMZ video below for yourself:

Hope Solo: “I Didn’t Feel Feminine Growing Up”

Hope Solo is an international soccer star. She’s won an Olympic gold medal. She’s wooing Dancing with the Stars‘ fans and judges’ alike as Maksim Chmerkovskiy‘s dream dance partner. Yet Hope is not a sexy woman. At least not if you ask her.

“I still don’t buy the idea that I’m a sex symbol,” the 30-year-old soccer star tells ESPN magazine in its  annual Body Issue in which she is pictured nude.

“Sure, I’ve had marriage proposals, invitations to military balls and prom offers. But my entire purpose is trying to be the best, and if that exudes beauty too … it means the image of the typical female body type is finally evolving.”

But she has not always felt happy about her physique. “Growing up, I felt insecure about my build,” says the 5’9″, 150 pound soccer star. “Guys would say, ‘Look at those muscles! You can kick my ass!’ I didn’t feel feminine.”

“But that’s changed in the last four years.”

The Body Issue also features other athletes, including Apolo Ohno, Alicia Sacramone and Gretchen Bleiler.

Big Bang Theory 5 Nights A Week!

In episode 13 from season one of The Big Bang Theory, “The Bat Jar Conjecture,” which airs Wednesday October 10th, Sheldon’s arrogance ostracizes him from the group which leads to him competing directly against his friends with Sheldon’s Group.

Have you ever competed against a good friend? If your best friend knew that one item that would make amends, what would it be?
Is it as funny as a batman cookie jar?
I am not at all competitive when it comes to my friends. But I know that women are very competitive with their girl friends when it comes to men. I just don’t get it. Men seem to have a “guy code” but I just don’t see that with women. So-called friends of mine have no qualms dating my ex’es or other ‘friends’ ex’s and claiming, “I won,” as if the guy that would date two friends is a catch of some sort! I’d take a Batman cookie jar full of cookies over a ‘friend’ like that any time!
How about you? Have you ever competed against a good friend? If your best friend knew that one item that would make a mends, what would it be?

Nicki Minaj: From Suicidal Struggling Artist To Cover Of Cosmopolitan

Nicki Minaj has had a breakout year in 2011.  Her debut album Pink Friday has 7 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at the same time–a feat never accomplished by any other artist. She is also the first female rapper to top the Hot Rap Songs charts since 2002.

The sultry artist now has another accomplishment under her belt: She is the first rapper in 11 years to grace the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine.
Wearing a tight black leather corset dress, and adorned with a black feathered bracelet which travels up her forearm, Nicki is also only the second black woman to grace this mag’s cover in the last 3 years. (Rihanna has been on the cover, twice.)
The feature story, “How she beat the odds, and learned to rule her world” is a fitting title for an artist who until recently, struggled to make herself heard, being rejected by multiple record companies to the point that she found herself suicidal.

“It was one dead-end after another. At one point, I was like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt–like maybe I should just take my life.”

The Queens native says it was her horrible childhood, growing up with a violent substance-abusing father, which made her crave fame and wealth.

“I would pray to God to make me famous, so I could buy my mother a huge house,” she admits.

Of course, and thankfully, Nicki did not take her own life while she struggled, and now that she has arrived on the scene, the 28-year old star sees herself in a much brighter future.

When asked by the mag where she sees herself five or ten years down the line, the star rapper said,

“I’ll have hundreds of millions of dollars. I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys. And I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, [I] will have a bun in the oven.”

Oh how I love dreamers….

First Listen: Willow Smith & Nicki Minaj Collaborate On ‘Fireball’

Willow Smith no longer whips her hair. She’s also not a 21st Century Girl anymore.

Instead, for her third single, she’s entered into an unexpected collaboration with Nicki Minaj and became a Fireball.

Will and Jada’s daughter says she is the “Fireball of the party,” over and over in the song she premiered Wednesday on Hot 97’s The Angie Martinez Show.

Jennifer Aniston, Michelle Pfeiffer & Evan Rachel Wood Talk Babies, Botox And Sex Scenes

You put a group of high-powered celebrity women in the room for an interview with ELLE magazine, and you get spilled secrets, debunked myth and talk about babies, plastic surgery, and sex scenes.

At least that’s what happened when Jennifer Aniston, Michelle Pfeiffer and Evan Rachel Wood sat down with ELLE magazine.

Aniston wants the world to know that despite persistent baby rumors in the tabloids, she is not desperate to become a mother:

“There’s no desperation. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. I’m at peace with whatever the plan is. But will you hate me if I say I don’t want to talk about my relationship?”

Pfeiffer took on the topic of plastic surgery in Hollywood:

“I’m all for a little something here and there – fine. It doesn’t matter to me if people have plastic surgery or they don’t, or if they do Botox. But when people don’t look like themselves anymore, that’s when you kind of go, ‘Oooh,’ and it’s kind of sad. It’s uncomfortable for us, but if they’re happy with what they see in the mirror, does it matter?”

Wood admitted that even this beautiful woman gets self-conscious when it comes to sex scenes:

“I learned that I needed to control the situation in order not to be too self-conscious,” Wood said. “I said to myself, I’m an awesome naked lady, and there’s an energy that I’m going give off right now that lets you know how you’re going to feel about this.”

Peggy Tanous Kisses The Real Housewives Of Orange County…Goodbye

Real Housewives of Orange County star Peggy Tanous is kissing her fellow cast mates goodbye and announced via Facebook yesterday that she will not be returning for season 7 of the hit show.

Peggy explained that “after months of negotiation and soul searching,” she has “declined their offer to return to the show.”
Peggy continued, “I just felt in my heart that being around the negative energy of certain cast members, being forced to have ‘dramatic’ confrontations and the time it would take me away from my family was just not a healthy path for me.”

What’s next for the ex-Bravo star? “I already have several opportunities to host upcoming TV shows that will empower woman, as well as my husband and I are about to launch our own wine.” Peggy also hints at what she really wants to do: “Who knows, perhaps if many of you want to continue to follow me and my family’s lives, then a new show can be created!”
