Mindy McCready: I Am Not Missing And I Didn’t Kidnap My Son!

Country singer Mindy McCready tells Access Hollywood that despite reports today, she is not missing and she did not kidnap her 5-year-old son.

In an e-mail to Access Hollywood, the crooner said: “I am working with lawyers to try to get all this straightened out. I did not steal my child, as it would be impossible for me to kidnap what already belongs to me! There never was any missing persons report and never an Amber Alert.”

This email flies in the face of the Associated Press which reported earlier that the Department of Children and Families said a missing persons report was filed in Florida on Tuesday. Per AP, the report was filed after the singer took her son, Zander, from the singer’s father’s home. McCready’s mother reportedly has custody of the child.

Per AP, a judge has ordered McCready to return Zander by Thursday.

PHOTO: Kellan Lutz Models Mohawk

I met Kellan Lutz right before Breaking Dawn premiered and the foxy hunk had this crazy unkempt hair thing going on. I wondered why someone so good looking would crazy up his hair so badly. On purpose. Don’t get me wrong, he still looked hot, but, the hair could have looked sharper.

Well, Kellan has now taken it all a step further. The 26-year old star took to Twitter yesterday and asked: “Movember equals Mohawk month, right?” NO, NO, IT DOESN’T KELLAN!!
Alas, it’s too late….because he then sent the above photo of himself with a brand new hairdo and said, “Out with the old and in with the new!” What’s wrong with the old, Kellan?, I ask. But the star just wants to have fun, it seems. “Goodbye dark hair. It’s been fun.”
What do you think of Kellan’s Mohawk?

Lady Gaga On Past Relationships: My Mind Intimidates Men

Lady Gaga looks red hot on the January 2012 cover of Vanity Fair which hits newsstands on Tuesday (December 6).

Here are some excerpts from the interview:

On why her relationships go bad:

“I think what it really is, is that I date creative people. And I think that’s what intimidates them is not my purse, it’s my mind…It starts out good. Then when I’m in these relationships with people who are also creative, or creative in their own way, what happens is the attraction is initially there and it’s all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me.”
On past bad relationships:
“I say this honestly, and this is my new thing as of the past year: when I fight with someone I’m in a relationship with, I think, what would my fans think if they knew this was happening? How would they feel about my work and about me as a female if they knew I was allowing this to go on? And then I get out. I only know the happiness of putting a smile on someone’s face from the stage.”

On being proposed to by ex-boyfriends after breaking up

“How f—in’ romantic, you a–hole. Sure, pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a f—in’ ring.”

Conrad Murray Sentenced To Four Years In Prison For Death Of Death Michael Jackson

Weeks after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray has been sentenced to the maximum of four years in prison.

Due to a newly-enacted California law, non-violent felons like Murray will serve their time in county jail.

Judge Michael Pastor denied Dr. Murray probation and gave him the maximum sentence, saying Murray has “absolutely no sense of remorse…and is, and remains, dangerous.”

Before sentencing, Brian Panish, an attorney and friend of the Jackson family, was allowed to read a statement on behalf of the family:

“I am the attorney and friend of the Jackson family. There’s no way to adequately describe the loss of our son, brother, friend and father. We still look at each other in disbelief. Is it really possible he’s gone? As his parents…it is simply against the natural order of things. As his brothers and sisters we will never be able to perform, laugh with Michael.”

The family asked the judge to give Murray a sentence which “reminds physicians they cannot sell their services to the highest bidder. As we all know from this tragedy, doing so can have fatal results.”

David Walgren said on behalf of the prosecution:

“This is not a crime involving mistake of judgment, this is a crime where the end result was the death of a human being. I think that eloquently sums up the nature and seriousness of the crime.”

Walgren continued:

“At the point where Dr. Murray knew his actions caused the death of Michael Jackson, he didn’t, as one would hope a doctor would do, immediately begin to cure the situation…he looked out for himself.”

The defense then asked that “the court consider the entirety of a man’s book of life as opposed to just one chapter. The month that Conrad Murray was treating Michael Jackson, he shouldn’t have done it.”  The defense added, “What about before Michael Jackson asked for Propofol? What about that? He spent fifty-six years…he never committed a crime…he raised a family.”

About Murray, the defense stated: “If we’re going to start with four years of prosecution, does any of that matter? For 58 years, Dr. Murray, he was born in Grenada. Illegitimate mother. He didn’t know his dad. They weren’t just poor, they were literally dirt poor…but he took that impossible situation…he made his way to the United States, a poor unsupported Black man from the Caribbean. He put himself through college, three years Magna Cum Lade. Put himself through medical school. University of Arizona after that. Does any of that matter that that’s exactly what we want our neighbors and citizens to aspire to? Does any of that matter to the court at all?”

After hearing all the parties, Judge Pastor declared his sentence, saying:

“There are those who feel Dr. Murray is a saint. There are those who feel he’s the devil. He is neither. He’s a human being…The court declines to grant probation in this case…he unquestionably violated the trust and confidence of his patient, Michael Jackson, on a repeated nightly basis.”
