DALLAS COWBOYS TRAINING CAMP
This week, I spent several days at the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp in Oxnard, CA. I have and will continue to report news from my time there and you can find those articles, videos and posts by clicking here.
However, I am a fan first, a reporter, a far second.

Me: “Mr. Jones. I have been a fan since the Danny White days. Thank you for all that you have done with our team and for the three Super Bowl rings.”

Side note: I have to tell you ladies – Miles is a special kind of beautiful. I swear his eyes are lavender in color. And he has this glow about him. Pictures and the TV do not do this man’s beauty enough justice.
PATRICK CRAYTON

JAY RATLIFF
Me: “Jay, I am the biggest Cowboys fan you have ever met.”

KEVIN OGLETREE
I was very excited to meet Kevin, my fellow University of Virginia alum!
Me: “Kevin, you need more playing time!”
CALVIN HILL
Me: “Mr. Hill. You’re gonna kill me. I deleted the picture I took with you yesterday.

Me: “Babe, I saw you play live in the Cowboys versus Falcons game in Atlanta when I was there on vacation.”

CLETIS GORDON
SUCH a nice guy. Since I met Gordon, he made a highlight-reel, one-handed interception at the beginning of the fourth quarter against the San Diego Chargers–the team he previously played with for three seasons. Gordon had been turning heads creating turnovers in practice, causing secondary coach Dave Campo to call Gordon the leader in the battle for the fourth cornerback spot.
