Chris Rene may not have won the first ever X Factor USAcrown but the fan fave has now launched his professional singing career with the debut of his first music video.
Epic Record’s new artist has released the video for his first single Young Homie! a song he originally sang on the show. The recovering drug and alcohol addict told AOL Music that he wrote the new tune after making some life-changing moves. “At that point I had an apartment, I had a job and a car,” he told AOL Music. “I was clean and I had my son and life was good.” He concluded, “I wrote the song in case people were having a bad time, or in case I was having a bad time — this would hopefully lift me back up and bring positive light to the situation.”
