Based on the Reality Steve spoilers which he has now taken down, Lindzi Cox and Kalon McMahon leave the Bachelor Pad tonight. Spoilers have been right all season, so, I think Lindzi and Kalon will be the ones who are sent home.
LIVE SHOW RECAP
This week’s show starts where we last left off–at the rose ceremony which sent Michael and Erica packing. Chris Harrison informs all the players that from this moment on, they will be competing and voting as couples. With Michael gone, Rachel and Nick have to pair up. Everyone is aiming to get rid of Chris and Sarah because, as Blakeley puts it, “he’s played the same so shady and manipulative and dirty.”
The next morning, a school bus arrives at the mansion and takes the house guests to a performing arts center. Surprise, the next competition is a spelling bee!! The players have to spell as a couple and each person says a letter at a time. Each team can get three strikes before being eliminated. The judges are top spelling kids from California.
THE SPELLING BEE COMPETITION
The first round is a piece of cake. The couples have to spell easy words like kiss, heart, sexy. It gets tougher with the second round words. Blakeley and Tony get their first strike after misspelling “engagement ring”. Lindsay and Kalon mess up as well on “rose ceremony”. Blakeley and Tony are the first couple out. Kalon and Lindsay are the second couple out. Nick and Rachel are third to strike out. After 9 rounds, Ed and Jaclyn and Chris and Sarah are the only couples still left in the competition. Sadly, Ed and Jaclyn mess up on “aphrodisiac” but, that’s only their first strike.
It’s a pretty tight game with a lot of nervous bystanders who do not want Chris and Sarah to win. BUT, when Jaclyn and Ed mess up “flabbergasted,” as their third strike, it all comes down to Chris and Sarah still needing to spell their word correctly to win.
Chris and Sarah’s do mess up on their next word, “entrepreneur”, so, it comes down to sudden death: The first couple to spell a word correctly and the other couple spells it wrong wins. Chris and Sarah end up winning the game and immunity for the week.
OVERNIGHT DATES
Both of the last couples in the game get overnight dates. Chris and Sarah’s date beings immediately
after the competition. They get in a car and taken to a private jet on a red carpet. Of course everyone is angry that they can’t get rid of the villains for another week. The plane takes Sarah and Chris to Santa Margarita Ranch. They then get on a train which takes them to a picnic by a lake. They go for a swim. Chris admits to the camera that he’s holding back a little with Sarah because because he is still getting over a broken heart after being dumped by Emily Maynard.
Sarah and Chris have a good date and she thinks they have “something real.” Sarah is excited to spend the night with Chris “in this rugged barn”.
Ed and Jaclyn leave in a limo for their overnight date. They also get on a private plane –first for a scenic ride over California and land for a picnic on a hillside. Ed confided to Jaclyn that he has been pursuing someone at home for a long time. It did end up in a six-month relationship which was ended before filming for BP started. Ed admits he does still have feelings for that woman and Jaclyn says had she known, she probably would not have slept with him.
Ed says he had no intention of getting involved with any woman while at the mansion, and takes responsibility for getting involved with Jaclyn when he had no intention of having it go any further. Jaclyn is shocked and hurt, thinking of herself as the girl who always gets screwed over. She trusted Ed and feels both embarrassed and betrayed.
Despite the obvious bust of a date, Jaclyn and Ed stay and keep going at it. Jaclyn wants more clarification from Ed instead of saying, “I wanna get the hell out of this overnight sham of a date.” She tells Ed if Ed keeps saying he isn’t romantically involved with anyone in the house, then she is going to leave. Ed who is not the smoothest talker tells her he wants to continue being close to her while not really giving her any clarity. He actually has the balls to say that if the two of them continue sleeping in the same bed, that solidifies their trust as partners and that makes them a couple. OH NO, Jaclyn buys it and the two head upstairs, together.
BACK AT THE HOUSE
Jaclyn is concerned for Rachel who she calls is “a stage 7 earthquake”. She says Rachel just wants to be voted off so she can go home and be with Michael. Nick is obviously concerned too as her partner. Rachel herself admits in her confessional that none of this is worth the money to stay on the show without Michael. She says she “feels lost” without him.
Jaclyn thinks that maybe it’s time for Lindzi and Kalon to be voted off. The girls agree and pinky swear on it.
Tony takes Blakeley on their own one-on-one date at the house. They really are hitting it off well.
As if their date wasn’t horrific enough, when Ed and Jaclyn get back to the mansion, they have to give out roses to another couple. They tell everyone they will speak with everyone individually about the roses. After speaking with everyone, Ed and Jaclyn give their roses to Blakeley and Tony.
ROSE CEREMONY
Each couple tonight votes as one. Rachel and Nick vote for Lindzi and Kalon to leave the BP mansion. Kalon and Lindzi can be voted off with only three votes. Kalon is going after Rachel and Nick. Kalon starts telling people he and Lindzi are a real couple but Rachel and Nick have just been “slapped together” due to the circumstances.
Nick tells Blakely and Tony that Kalon is a “snake in the grass,” but Tony says Kalon has always been 100% honest with him. Rachel who now apparently wants to stay feels that Nick is completely blowing it for the two of them because he’s being confrontational with Blakeley and Tony.
Blakeley and Tony approach Chris and Sarah of all people about who to vote for and they seem upset that Nick approached them in such a semi-aggressive manner. Rachel calls Michael and Nick thinks that is a dumb move. He’s worried the other players see that and assume she’s the easiest person to kick out because she rather be out anyway.
Chris and Sarah vote out Lindzi and Kalon. Jaclyn wants to keep Rachel but doesn’t think Nick deserves to stay since he has not done much all season.
WHO GETS A ROSE?
Sarah and Chris are safe for winning the comp this week. Blakeley and Tony are safe as well because they received a rose from Ed and Jaclyn.
At the ceremony, Jaclyn and Ed and Rachel and Nick get the other two roses of the night.
