Taylor Swift crushes on the Kennedys, admitting they’re the only celebrities who leave her star-struck.

Seems like that is a two-way infatuation.

“She’s awesome,” Rory Kennedy, Conor Kennedy’s aunt said Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer tour. “She’s a great friend of all of ours.”

Conor Kennedy, of course, is the 18-year-old new boyfriend of the 22-year-old Swift and the grandson of the late politician Robert F. Kennedy. Their romance started when Rory took her two daughters to see Swift in concert. “Rory went to a concert with her two little girls, and that’s what started it all,” Ethel Kennedy says.

And when asked what would happen if Swift becomes a Kenndy? “We should be so lucky,” said Ethel.

Well, if things keep going as they are, Taylor may just become a Kennedy after all the heartbreak she’s suffered in life and written about. The Swift-Kennedy lovebirds hung out at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass. recently, and were spotted “kissing, holding hands, and getting extremely touchy-feely,” as a source told the New York Post. 

And just so we’re clear, Conor is Patrick Schwarzenegger‘s cousin. Patrick was recently rumored to be dating Taylor after being spotted with the singer at a Fourth of July party. Looks like the tabloids had the wrong Kennedy!
