The Voice Top 10 took the stage tonight November 10, 2012 and performed live for America’s vote. If you missed any of tonight’s performances, click here for all the videos from The Voice!
Cassadee Pope sang ‘Over You’, an incredibly personal song written by Blake Shelton and sung by his wife Miranda Lambert. The song is about the death of Shelton’s brother who was killed in a car crash in 1990 when Blake was a mere teenager.
Judges’ comments: Christina thanks Cassadee for the sincerity of the song and compared her to a lotus flower. Cee Lo thought it was an amazing moment. Adam thinks that this kind of song suits her the best because it felt like such a good fit. Coach Blake gave her a standing ovation and said this is the most emotional song he’s ever written and when Cassadee sang it, he felt like he heard it for the very first time.
