First Song: Medley of Jerry Lee Lewis’ “Great Balls of Fire” and Jimmy Hendricks’ “Fire”.
Judges’ comments: Adam Levine: “I am so happy and this is great. It was cool to see a different side of you.” He called it entertaining and fun.” Blake Shelton pretty much said the same thing. “That was so much fun, I am glad that you went there with it”. Cee Lo Green who mentors Nicholas saidL “Sometimes we forget that this is supposed to be fun. Your humility is always heartwarming but your fire tonight burned it down.”

Second Song: Breakout song of “Lean on Me” by  Bill Withers.
Judges’ comments: Adam said Nicholas looked like a principle in his outfit, adding, “You know how much I love you! That version is great, you did justice to  it.” Cee Lo said he believes in him and that Nicholas moves him. “We have spent a lot of time together and I sit here in awe and appreciate you so much…I have nothing fancy to say, but something true and sincere, I love you man”.

CASSADEE POPE
First Song: ‘Over You’ by Miranda Lambert (Same breakout song she sang earlier in the season about Blake’s late brother)
Judges’ Comments: Christina says Cassadee looks “drop dead gorgeous”. She says she did an amazing job and that her voice is phenomenal and she nailed the emotional side of the song. Adam says Cassadee looks “shiny”. He says the most impressive thing for him to him is how finely-tuned her voice. He also can’t believe how much Cassadee has improved over the course of the show. Her coach Blake says “You know how I feel about that song and you singing it, is perfect.” He added that Cassadee is helping heal “America’s heavy heart” and called her performance, amazing.

Judges’ Comments: Adam: “I wanted you on my team!” But added that he’s happy she’s still in the competition. “I don’t care, you have accomplished everything that I wanted you to”. Blake who is speechless at first says: “I don’t know what else I can say, I have never heard you sing as good as you did tonight”

TERRY MCDERMOTT
First Song: Broken Wings by Mister Mister
Judges’ Comments: Adam: “There was something going on in the beginning of the song, but being a great singer, you recovered and that is why you are here. You friggin’ nailed it”. Blake tells him every time he takes the stage, something ‘epic’ happens. Blake adds that Terry  makes classic rock songs sound new again and that’s something no one else can do.
