The X Factor USA will air its finale performance show of the second season tonight December 19, 2012. Each Top  finalist will be perform three songs. Who do you think will win X Factor USA? If you like to see any of last week’s performances, click here!

Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens and Fifth Harmony are are remaining contestants. Each judge other than Demi Lovato still has an act left in the competition. 

The artists will sing three songs each tonight. One song will be the artist’s single if they should win. The other other song is a duet with a celebrity –one of whom will sing with Demi. Third will be a new song.

Tate Stevens will sing Little Big Town. Carly Rose Sonenclar will sing a duet with LeAnn Rimes. So, it’s probably Fifth Harmony who will be singing with Demi Lovato which would be weird considering how tough she’s been on the all-female group all season.

CARLY ROSE SONENCLAR
First Song: “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone which she has previously performed
Judges’ comments:  LA said this performance had to top everything else she’d done all season…and it did. Demi said “It is so cool to watch someone so young give it your all and you did.” Demi also has a prediction: Carly Rose is “going to inspire so many young girls to live their dreams” and called the performance “excellent.” Simon said he was “blown away” the first time he heard Carly Rose sing that song but she even sang it better this time. He also loves her competitive spirit. Britney thinks Carly will win it all. “I can’t believe how shining your star is”.

Second Song:  Carly Rose with Lee Ann Rimes “How Do I Live”
Judges’ comments. The only judge allowed to comments is mentor Britney who called the duet “shockingly amazing.”

Third and final song: Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen
Judges’ comments:LA thought it was angelic. “The look was amazing, you didn’t over sing it and you managed to make it to the famous Carly Rose note. Is it a five million dollar performance, it’s not up to me, it’s up to America”. Demi said Carly Rose’s vocals have really impressed her. “I have enjoyed watching you throughout this competition”. Simon said that was a beautiful version of the song and he loved it. “You had a good night”. Britney “I think that song alone is worth five million bucks….Get your checkbook out Simon”.

TATE STEVENS
First song: “Anything Goes” by Randy Houser
Judges’ Comments: Britney said Tate’s performance is “right on” when he does country music. Demi loved that he turned his performance into a “stadium performance” and said she is obsessed with him. Simon joked that he finally agrees on something with Demi. He added Tate sang the song “brilliantly.” “I love that you are made in America, you are authentic and you haven’t tried to do anything stupid. You have maintained your integrity throughout.” LA called Tate “lovable” from the beginning.“I am really proud of you. You haven’t changed since the begining. You were lovable the day we met you and you are lovable tonight”.

Second Song: “Pontoon” by Little Big Town who joins Tate on the stage.
Judges’ comments: LA thought the performance was fun and so natural. He even said the new love of his life is country music.

Third and final song: Tomorrow by Chris Stevens
Judges’ comments: Britney called it a great performance and said she always enjoys him singing. Demi who said earlier she is obsessed with Tate was almost moved to tears because it was his last performance. “I am going to miss you, you are so talented.” Simon thought Tate did a great job representing his age category and predicted Tate will have a hit album in a year’s time. LA commended Tate on his authenticity and consistency.“You consistently come out here a do it, you owe your family a big congratulations for pushing you out there and we are blessed to have you”.

FIFTH HARMONY
First song: They’re performing “Anything Can Happen” by Ellie Goulding again
Judges’ comments:  LA said he is completely shocked because Fifth Harmony were the underdogs but now, they’re “the ones to beat.” He also said he did not know how Simon has done it because he never thought this could work when he first saw them and now the girls are sensational. Britney liked the song choice and said they were spectacularly girly, and just fun! Demi praised them for working so hard and said she was very impressed. She hopes America gets behind them and voted for them. Simon thinks it would be very special if they won the competition. Of course Simon–they’re your creation.

Judges’ comments: Simon called Demi “sensational” and said their performance was “pop perfection.”

Third and final song: Let It Be by The Beatles
Judges’ comments: LA said both the girls and the performance was beautiful. He also congratulated them on making it to the end. Britney agreed, saying that they’ve “truly blossomed as a group.” Demi  praised them on their evolution and growth. Simon admitted he actually loved all the acts but believes based on the night’s performances, Fifth Harmony should win.
