If this is true, I think it is a brilliant idea.

Jersey Shore‘s Snooki was arrested back in July of this year for disturbing the peace in public and was ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform two days of community service.

But why make a celeb do the type of work the rest of us non-celebrities can do, like pick up trash on the side of dangerous highways.  Oh no! Not just any regular mundane type of community service will do for this Jersey Shore star.

Per TMZ, Snooki will complete her court-ordered community service at a 3-hour autograph session. Yep, you got it, Snooki will be signing pictures of herself at a fundraiser at the Seaside Heights Community Center this weekend to raise funds for an animal charity.

Sources also told TMZ Snooki will also be making a “personal donation of an undisclosed amount.” She’ll also be forced to participate in a private community service activity that will take a few hours of her time. I say – that is a win win situation!
