For once, I want to be a Grown Up! You will too after reading this.

Adam Sandler was just named 2010’s 9th most over-paid actor in Hollywood by Forbes. The list singles out actors who bring in the least revenue per each dollar they are paid for the movies they make.  However, that list was compiled before Sandler’s mega-hit Grown Ups was released which grossed over $162 million in the US alone.

So, I guess Sandler was happy-camper ecstatic that he finally had a huge movie on his hands and knows that he will likely miss the 2011 list of the most overpaid actors thanks to that hit. Sandler was so happy in fact, that he wanted to thank his supporting cast! And boy, did he ever!

One of Sandler’s Grown Ups fellow cast members, Chris Rock, told Howard Stern: “I went outside the other day and I had a new Maserati in the driveway!”

Rock said he soon learned that three of his costars, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Kevin James, all woke up to the same $200,000 sweet ride parked in each of their driveways. Common denominator for each man, Adam Sandler. Turns out that Sandler thanked his costars by dishing out $800K and buying each one of them an unexpected ride of their own.

Rock continued jokingly: “Now I think that I’m Adam Sandler’s bitch!”

Rock also said it’s the first time he’s gotten any kind of token of appreciation for film work, and he’d never have bought such a pricey car on his own.

“The movie’s like the biggest thing for [Sandler], he appreciates the help.”

Now, tell me, how is the biggest-gift giver Oprah ever going to beat that gift?
