Corey Haim was left out at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in the memoriam montage which included actors such as Gary Coleman, Leslie Nielsen, Pete Postlethwaite, Rue McClanahan, Dennis Hopper and others who died in 2010.
Haim’s long-time friend Corey Feldman is understandably upset over what he perceives as a snub by SAG.
Feldman told PopEater: “We have become used to not being honored by our peers in the industry. I have faith that the Academy will make a wiser choice.”
Haim and Feldman were co-stars in a few movies in the 1980’s including The Lost Boys and License to Drive. Haim died March 10, 2010 as a result of natural causes at the age of 38.
I COMPLETELY AGREED WITH FELDMAN. COREY HAIM WAS THE MOST FAMOUS TEENAGER ACTOR OF THE 80’S. SO THAT´S WHY HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST ACTORS IN TEENAGE MOVIES. I HOPE THAT THE OSCARS DO THE RIGHT THING TO INCLUDE HIM IN THE VIDEO OF IN MEMORIAM. COREY HAIM DESERVES ALL THE HONOR AND RESPECT.
