What a difference a year makes. At least in Sandra Bullock‘s life. In exactly a year, she won the Academy Award for an Actress in a Leading Role, suffered the breakdown of her marriage to ex-Jesse James, gained a beautiful son and became a first-time mom.
A year later, Bullock herself says she is a “better person” for going through everything she has in the past year. “It’s made me a better person. I’m more patient and accommodating. I really appreciate where I am,” Bullock revealed to NBC’s Maria Menounos during the Oscar pre-show.
