Check your mail. You may be one of the lucky 1,900 people invited to the April 29, 2011 marriage of Kate Middleton to England’s Prince William, second-in-line to the UK throne.
The Royal Palace has announced that exclusive gold-bevelled, die-stamped, heavyweight invitations, bearing Queen Elizabeth’s emblem in gold on top, were mailed this week and are now making their way to their intended guests.
The invitations, sent in the Queen’s name, read, “The Lord Chamberlain has been commanded by the Queen to invite” the guest to the marriage at Westminster Abbey at 11 a.m. on April 29.
