Clarice Ordaz and Jess LeProtto teamed up June 15 on a Broadway routine for this season’s first night of competition on So You Think You Can Dance.

Their routine was choreographed by Tyce DiOrio and danced to Me and My Baby by Liza Minelli.

Nigel Lythgoe called Clarice a beautiful dancer but said Jess is a wonderfully gifted dancer and she has to work harder to keep up with him. He told Jess he is magnificent and will be one of his fave men this year. He asked for more emotion and passion out of Alexander. Mary Murphy said it was an amazing celebration of dance. She said Alexander was perfection in everything he did and said Clarice is not in danger anytime soon.
