It’s Friday, it’s Friday, but if you weren’t one of the lucky 167,370,534 viewers of Rebecca Black’s YouTube Friday video, you’re out of luck for seeing that video today or perhaps anytime soon–at least on YouTube anyway. Due to a copyright claim filed by Rebecca, the video has been pulled from YouTube.
Earlier this week, the infamous video had been pulled from the free catalog of videos on YouTube and placed behind a $2.99 rental pay wall by ARK Music Factory. After fan outcry, the video was back for free, but it has since been taken down all together.
Rebecca Black’s rep told TMZ: “We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ video.”
Rebecca herself had taken to Twitter earlier this week to let her fans know the price hike was not her fault.
“Thanks for all the messages regarding the $2.99 fee added to Friday video, I have NOTHING to do with this!!” she Tweeted. “PS…My Manager and Lawyer are on this and are going to get to the bottom of this! Stay tuned…”
