David Arquette and Kym Johnson started the 13th season premiere of Dancing with the Stars with a Vienne Waltz. They chatted up with Maria Menounos of Extra last week at The Grove and David told her that he is “sore all over” from the six-hour a day workouts.

Kym said David is very “graceful on the dance floor,” and David quipped back, “Who knew?”

David said the hardest thing about DWTS so far has been his ability to keep his frame graceful, arms up, knees bent. Kym was quick to point out that her partner has now nailed the issues he had in the begining.

David also said it’s hard for him not to rush things when he is nervous.  “It’s all about being one with the moment and feeling the floor,” he said.

David said he joined the DWTS cast now because he finally has time to make it a priority and give it the focus that it needs. He said he loves entertaining people and this is a great outlet for that.

Kym was very cute when she said she has had to step up her rehearsal attire because David is so stylish and shows up in rehearsals in suits.

When Maria asked them if the two have had a love connection, David said there is love between them and left it at that.

As for Courteney Cox, David said she has been extremely supportive of his new gig and will be in the audience watching him perform along with their daughter Coco.
