Designated as Sweden’s Sexiest Man Alive for five years, Alexander Skarsgard, who gets naked a lot in True Blood, does not understand why Americans get so frigid when it comes to nude scenes on TV.
“[Parents] in the States freak out if their kids see a nipple or a butt cheek, but at the same time they’re OK with their kids watching people bash each other’s heads in with baseball bats,” the actor says in the latest issue of Out magazine.
Skarsgard comes from a place where nudity isn’t that big a deal. He says that may be due to the “cold dark winters” in Sweden. He joked:
“That’s the boning season. And then it’s spring, and that’s also boning season. And summer’s the best boning season.”
As if that isn’t clear enough, Alexander concluded: “We f-ck a lot.”
