Mariah Carey got her body back, six months after giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe. The singer, showing off her toned legs and flat stomach in size-6 short-shorts, tells Us Weekly that she lost 30 pounds the hard way.
“I just gained an enormous amount of weight,” Carey says about her pregnancy. But in July, Carey hired a nutritionist and started a workout plan from Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig). Under the plan, Carey worked out three days a week and stuck to a 1,500 calories a day diet.
“I feel incredible. It was just the biggest blessing to be able to have the babies,” Carey says.
“But I felt trapped in my body because I couldn’t move.” Carey adds, “I’m proud of how hard I worked to get my body back… I had to do this for me.”
