It was bound to happen and it was only a matter of time.
That time, as it turned out, was November 3, 2011 when Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were immortalized in cement in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
The Twilight Saga trio became the latest stars to be honored with a Hand and Footprint Ceremony outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. During the ceremony, Stephenie Meyer thanked the trio for all of their hard work on the movie franchise.
Stewart said, “No one said we had to make a speech or anything.” She added, “This is so crazy for us.” Lautner joined in, “There are a few moments that mean just so much. It’s really even hard to explain. This is definitely one of those. This is really like a dream. It’s such an honor.” RPatt concluded, “This is incredibly scary… This is such an incredible honor. How young we are. It’s kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time. It’s all thanks to you guys who drive the franchise forward.”
