The Bachelor airs its second episode of season 16 January 9, 2012. Below is the live recap of the show, starring Ben Flajnik.
LIVE RECAP:
The 18 remaining ladies meet Ben in his hometown of Sonoma, California. Kacie B. gets the first one-on-one date of the season. Ben picked her because he feels that she’s a real genuine woman.
Ben took Kacie for a stroll around his hometown. They go to a piano bar and the two play the piano together. Then they visit a candy shop and pick up a Kermit the Frog lunchbox. At dinner, Ben and Kacie talked about his father and the type of relationship he’s looking for. During dinner, Ben said that he could see her there in Sonoma and gave her the rose and a kiss. They then go to Sebastian Theatre where the duo get to watch videos of each other when they were younger.
Ben took 12 of the women on a group date to audition for a play written by children. After the play, the ladies joined Ben back at the house for drinks. Blakely is dead set on getting a rose tonight and she even steals him away from his alone time with Jennifer. And guess what? Blakely gets the group date rose.
Ben took Courtney on a picnic date with his dog, Scotch. Down by the lake, they drink some wine and talk about the future. They then go on a nighttime tractor ride and walk to a candlelit dinner where he gives her a rose. The two got hot and heavy after the rose.
ROSE CEREMONY
Ben Took Lyndzi aside and told her that she didn’t get a date this week because she had already made a great first impression on him and there was no need for a date. He then took Samantha aside to talk but the two get interrupted by Blakely.
He gets away and takes Jenna by the pool to get to know her better. She oddly tells him that she feels like a guy around the other women.
