SPOTTED: Actress Kate Beckinsale looking pretty in pink at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (January 16) for an interview with Maria Menounos of Extra. The actress, who presented at the Golden Globes in a stunning white Cavalli gown, was there to promote her two new films, Underworld: Awakening and Contraband.
Beckinsale had taken a few years off from acting to raise her daughter, Lily,12. Contraband made her come back. She told USA Today: “I’d been home for a little while. It wasn’t appropriate to pull [Lily] out [of school]. I was trying to figure out what everyone else was doing. I didn’t find anything I was dying to do.” She added, “And then Contrabandcame up. It was a supporting role, it wasn’t that long, and I could see how it worked. And I really liked the character. She’s the emotional heart of the movie.”
