Ellen Pompeo appeared on Chelsea Lately to chat about Grey’s Anatomy and ended up revealing a couple of interesting tidbits.

The 42-year-old actress who is lucky enough to share the screen with TV love interest Patrick Dempsey actually said kissing co-stars on screen is gross!Wait, what? Kissing McDreamy is gross? You just crushed all of our fantasies so you need to explain that one sister! 

“We are literally like brother and sister, so it does get awkward,” Pompeo said.

“We don’t use tongue, but we have to open our mouths to make it real and sell it!”Now, how about the rumors that Katherine Heigl will be returning to the show? Pompeo said “I don’t think that’s happening.”
