LIVE SHOW RECAP
AND, we’re live!!
Because the teams are uneven in number, Forte needs to pick someone from Unanimous to join their team. It ends up being Clay who joins Dayana, Lisa and Penn but it was Donald who picked him to make the switch. The celebs meet with the execs of FAO Schwarz and Brian Henson so that they can create adult puppets and put on a live performance. Lisa volunteers as PM for Forte and Paul reluctantly became the PM for Unanimous. Paul said this task is not his thing but since this is about improve, it’s OK if he doesn’t exactly know what he is doing. The winner will get $20,000 for his/her charity.
Improv will be a key skill for this task, favoring Clay and Lisa even though Dayana tried to tell Lisa that she knows how to do improve. Lisa got offended that Dayana said she can do what Lisa can do better. On the other team, Arsenio and Aubrey are actually getting around and Arsenio has nothing but good to say about her, calling her a great team player.
Brian Henson meets with both teams to give them pointers. Puppeteer cannot be too tall, and that leaves Penn out. Clay tells Lisa to do a Spanish accent. That offends Dayana. Dayana was also upset because she has nothing to do and thinks Lisa is giving her nothing to do so she can cry to Trump in the boardroom that Dayana doesn’t do anything. Unanimous is working with mohawks and puppets. Lisa finally makes use of Dayana by having her cut and paste wardrobes to make a puppet based on Lisa’s instructions. The two continue bickering.
Paul really doesn’t provide much direction for his team which frustrates Aubrey. Teresa has a hard time coming up with a name for her puppet, even calling her Goldilocks even though the puppet is supposed to be her, a brunette. She also has no idea what she will do as a puppeteer–she can’t come up with anything.
Penn is working very hard and sees Dayana doing really great putting her puppet together so he wonders why Lisa has such a problem with her.
Eric Trump works with Forte and Ivanka is assigned to Unanimous. Eric notices that there may be too much tension between Lisa and Dayana and felt that Dayana was awkwardly quiet.
Paul still has no idea what he is doing and Ivanka said she has seen his energy level higher in the past. Aubrey thinks Arsenio is funny with his puppet but does not think Teresa is any good, saying she doesn’t know which character she is playing in different scenes.
Dayana and Lisa continue to bicker right before show time. Clay gave a suggestion on how to get Dayana more involved and Lisa blew a gasket. Lisa tells Dayana to do whatever she focking wants to do. Clay had to stop the women from fighting. Lisa calls Dayana a pain in the ass and belittles Dayana’s skills in making the puppets. Lisa said they could have made the puppets themselves but gave Dayana busy work. Lisa starts crying because she feels that she is babysitting Dayana all the time. Dayana is also crying outside saying that it’s sad and disappointing that Lisa has no respect for anyone. Clay said Lisa may be jealous of Dayana because she is so beautiful, she is stunning. Lisa then blames the men for having failed to help her when she needed backup. REALLY? THE BULLY FELT BACKED UP? Penn went outside and consoled Dayana, probably making himself look bad to Lisa.
During the performance for Forte, Clay is a great puppeteer and Penn is a great host except he does miss the cues at times. For Unanimous, Aubrey was a fun host. Arsenio had the crowd laughing. Even Aubrey said the crowd loved his humor. Aubrey said the answer in improve is always “yes” but Teresa broke the cardinal rule by being negative. Aubrey did say that Teresa somehow makes her unknowing ways be admired on stage.
The executives say for Unanimous, Aubrey had great timing and instincts. They said Arsenio was solid. They thought Teresa broke a lot of improvisational rules. They said of Forte that they have great improvisational skills but got a bit risque and went too far with sexual comments. They said Lisa was strong and Clay surprised them. They said Penn should have cut off skits sooner. They loved the puppets which Dayana made and said they would use them in their own shows.
When asked why he chose to be PM, Paul said he doesn’t fockin know anything about Puppeteering. He said if they lose, he would bring back Teresa because it takes her a long time to make a decision.
FORTE WINS!!! That’s Lisa, Clay, Dayana and Penn. The main reason Unanimous lost was because the puppets were too complex and therefore, they were limited in the number of scenes they could play. Arsenio made one of the puppets and Teresa the other. Arsenio took blame for his puppet but Teresa said Paul oversaw it all and it’s Paul’s fault. Paul said Teresa added too much to her puppet. Teresa said again Paul oversaw everything and Paul should be fired. She also said Paul moves slowly and should not accuse Teresa of moving slowly. She then looked to Aubrey to back her up. Aubrey said Paul is slow because his back is hurt. Teresa said Paul just sits there and he even said he’d rather be outside riding his bike.
Aubrey said Teresa is a hard worker and has heart. She said Teresa goes home every night to take care of her kids and comes back and gives 100%. Aubrey refused to say anything negative about Teresa. Arsenio tried to say how smart Paul, calling him an engineer.
Paul sends Arsenio to safety because he said moving forward, Arsenio will bring versatility to the team. He brought Aburey and Teresa to final boardroom. Aubrey said she’s going to pull a Dayana card and said there is no reason why she should be in the boardroom because she worked hard and the executives loved her. Paul agreed, so Trump asked if Paul is protecting Arsenio since Arsenio made one of the puppets. Paul had no good answer. After giving Teresa a backhanded compliment, Aubrey said she’d fire Paul. Her reason: Teresa really tried at something she is not good at and the PM should have utilized her talents as best as he could and Paul did not. Paul said after this task, he found Aubrey to be incredibly talented. When prompted, Paul admitted that because Aubrey did so well, either him or Teresa should be fired. Trump asked him whether he should have brought Arsenio back and Paul tried to say no…but, because Paul was the PM and because he didn’t bring Arsenio back to the boardroom with him, Trump fires PAUL.
