Dancing With the Stars aired its fourth performance show of Season 14 tonight, April 9, 2012. Our celebrities performed one of four different dance styles (Tango, Paso Doble, Viennese Waltz or Jive) and the theme was rock week! KISS performed tonight as well.

Judges comments:
Bruno: Told Sherri she did a lap dance for him. “I love you when you are mean and moody.” He then asked, “voulez vous coucher avec mo?” He said she needed to be a little sharper but he loves her when she’s being nasty.
Carrie Ann: Said she thinks Sherri was lacking her natural exuberance and that there wasn’t any sparkle on the dance floor.
Len: “Be still my beating heart.” He added that her dances the last two weeks have not showcased her bubbly personality and he loved it.
Scores: Carrie Ann 7. Len 7. Bruno 7. Total = 21

Judges’ comments:
Bruno: Said “You got the ‘Jagger’ perfect, but it was a little under powered.” He said Jaleel needed more drive and more aggression in the foot work.
Carrie Ann: Loved it. But also said there was just something funky and weird about it. She asked Jaleel not to be too smooth next time.
Len: Loved the humor Jaleel put into it but said the dance needed more attack and aggression and the footwork has to be like a panther. As a performance he thought it was great.

Judges’ comments:
Carrie Ann: Called this Melissa’s best performance to date by far. “When you are in hold you are holding on to dear life, you need to find a balance.”
Len: Liked it and said she had confidence. “I am looking forward to seeing you in a slower more lyrical dances, I think you are going to be great.”
Bruno: Called it a “hot blooded drama.” He said Melissa messed up the ending. “The slower parts great, at times I feel that you are running for it instead of keeping up with it.”

Bruno: “Great guns Donald! Muscular, masculine, magnificent!”
Carrie Ann: She said she just saw “The most psychedelic hottest – one of the most memorable moments of this season. Amazing Dancing.” Wow, she added.
Len: “I never thought I would get excited seeing a man with his shirt off.” Len added that no one can accuse Donald of holding back. “I don’t know if you frightened the bull but you scared me to death. Donald your best dance.”

Judges’ comments:
Bruno: Called Gladys a class act. He said her song was the most difficult to dance to. “You have to adapt your footwork and it was difficult. You did a good job with it.”
Carrie Ann: Said this was by far Gladys’ most ambitious routine and that the song was a hard one to dance to. She said the routine did not quite come together.
Len: Said Tristan did a good job with the song. “Gladys you coped well but your posture has to be stronger. Not you’re best dance but not the worst.”

Bruno: Said William’s performances always rock the house. “But you went wrong quite a few times. You have so much talent but tonight you were not as good as usual.”
Carrie Ann: “You have something very sensual.” She said William has to watch the routine and stay focused.
Len: “Well it is what it is. You went wrong, you lost timing. It’s one of those things. The show is live you cannot go it again.” Len said that is two weeks in a row that he went wrong in his routines.

Judges comments:
Len: Good job dog!” Len said Roshon performed it with style. Said the routine had great rotation but there was a little stumble.
Bruno: Said Roshon is flying so high he can catch the sky. He loves his line extensions. Called it elegant and romantic. He loved it.
Carrie Ann: Said it was like watching the climax of a Disney movie. She called it wonderful and said he is the best dancer of all the men.Scores: Carrie Ann 9. Len 8. Bruno 9. Total = 26

Bruno: Said Maria’s top line is the best.
Carrie Ann: Said there is great chemistry between Maria and Derek and she loved the routine.
Len: Said Maria occasionally lost some of the control but her loved her posture.

Bruno: Said Gavin was very determined and focused but his frame was bad. He said he looked like a turtle sometimes.
Carrie Ann: Said she felt like she was watching Johnny Depp on the stage. “I thought your posture was a little strange but your movements were great.”
Len: Liked it. Said it had flair and attitude. He said the trouble was his posture and that he has to tuck his bum in.
