LIVE SHOW RECAP AND RESULTS POSTED AT BOTTOM OF PAGE!
The Celebrity Apprenticeairs the second to last episode of the season tonight May 13, 2012, titled “And Then There Were Two”.
Aubrey goes second and says she is the strongest player left. She says she’s honest about the fact that she’s undeveloped. Arsenio said he apologized for having used language on the show which wasn’t appropriate but says it’s not like he is running for office. He says he’s a tireless worker.
LAST TASK
Clay and Arsenio are thrilled that they are the last two standing and that Aubrey is finally gone. Arsenio tells Clay jokingly that he will be in his butt during the last task and Clay says back, “you may want to rephrase that!”
Clay sees this as a “Deja Vu”–being in the top two of a reality show just like the second season of American Idol when he lost. He tells Arsenio there is no way is is losing this time.
Arsenio and Clay meet up with Trump at the Lincoln Center to get their final task. Ivanka explains the last task: The two have to sell tickets to a celebrity charity event; create a 30-second charity awarness ad; and put on and perform at a variety show to entertain guests.
The fired celebrities are back to help each of the final two players. Arsenio gets the first pick, he chooses Adam Carolla. Clay chooses Penn Jillette so he can show Trump that he can work with everyone, even people he’s had issues with in the past. Arsenio then chooses Lisa Lampanelli because he knows Clay wants her badly. Clay chooses Debbie Gibson. Arsenio chooses Paul Teutul Sr., Clay, sticking with musical talent, chooses Dee Snider. Arsenio chooses Teresa Giudice over Aubrey because he just wanted to have “two pleasant days.” Clay ends up with Aubrey since she was the last one left. Poor Clay. He definitely ended up with the weaker team, don’t you think?
The winner of this task will earn $250,000 for his charity in addition to the proceeds raised from ticket sales.
TEAM CLAY (Penn, Debbie, Dee, Aubrey)
Clay meets with his team and explains his charity, The National Inclusion Foundation. He helped found the charity which helps to include kids with disabilities to go to camp or other outings.
Clay delegated everyone on his team with assigned tasks. Aubrey comes up with the theme of a “carnival” after Penn suggest that they go with a “play” theme. She is giving her 100% to this task because she wants Clay to win; she thinks Arsenio is dirt.
Clay and Penn head down to a park to film the ad–the park smells like death and is overwhelming them. Penn, Clay and Dee take a walk to find another area to film the ad since they could no longer take the smell at the park and the noise from the overhead trains would mute out Clay’s voice over. The director of photography shows up and helps scout locations for the shoot.
Clay is running out of options for a location to shoot the ad. He finally finds a baseball field and asks the coach there if they can use the field. Even though they are celebs, the answer is no! Clay tells everyone that they are down to plan “F” as in, they are royally f*cked.
But then Penn finds a small grassy area beneath a housing authority project. The kids arrive and they begin shooting finally.
Debbie is organizing the music and is getting under Aubrey’s skin when she repeatedly sings “shake your love”.
Clay, Penn and Dee are in the editing studio when Clay finally starts to really focus on raising funds. Clay disagrees with Debbie on the music and she is upset. Lisa actually calls Clay and tells him that she is bringing him a check at his event because she enjoyed working with him so much on the puppet task especially. This shocks Clay because Lisa is on Arsenio’s team!
Clay is trying to work on the music now and Penn worries about his mood. Debbie is frustrated because she was delegated the task of music and doesn’t like that Clay is making her feel pushed aside.
Clay and Debbie are talking about the mural now and he insists on seeing the sketch first for approval. Debbie says her family member is doing her a favor and is a professional so she does not feel comfortable asking for a sketch. Aubrey thinks Clay is overreacting. Debbie is upset because of how Clay is acting but Clay is not budging. Debbie is starting to feel that she does not want to be there to help anymore.
TEAM ARSENEIO (Adam, Lisa, Paul, Teresa)
Arsenio tells his team about his charity, The Magic Johnson Foundation. For his event, he wants to to a comedy show but not everyone thinks that’s a good idea. Lisa and Adam tell him that won’t be kid friendly.
Adam suggests they do an ’80′s theme for the charity awareness ad. Arsenio wants to include Magic Johnson and have him talk about the charity. Adam says he has a crew in LA that can film Magic and sent the film to them in NY. At first Lisa was a little unsure about Adam, but after he comes up with an idea of Magic Johnson and Arsenio throwing a basketball to each other to make the filming smooth, she starts to believe in him.
Adam and Teresa go to a costume shop to pick out 80′s costumes for the 30-second charity awarness ad. Teresa loves that Adam is so funny and she’s having a great time hanging out with a “comedian”. They go in one of the rooms at the shop and find a giant penis. Adam names the room “penis cave” and refuses to go in there.
Arsenio is on the phone trying to raise donations and is having lots of luck.
Both teams arrive at a warehouse –the place where both teams have to host their parties, side by side. Arsenio is not too worried about decor and puts Lisa in charge of it. Teresa is working on the menu with the caterer.
Arsenio arrives at his location for the shoot and loves it. His team members all dress in 80’s costumes to shoot the ad. Lisa loves the way the shoot is going and thinks Arsenio may just have a chance at winning.
